my car, destroyed by an evil saab, has gone to the great nismo garage in the sky... sorry no pics yet but will endeavour to have 'em up asap. i was coming down commercial rd on tuesday at about 6 and went to turn right into porter st. i moved into the intersection and the light went amber. one car raced through and another (the saab) behind it slowed to stop... or so i thought. i began to turn and *crunch*. the saab basically t-boned me at 50kmh. scared the sh*t out of the gf who was in the passenger seat. insurance info swapped, companies called, car inspected, determined a write-off and i'm now waiting for a cheque for about $8k (less my excess of course). off to check out the classifieds...

i win!! my first car (if i can call it that) was a manual '84 suzuki hatch. 800cc's of raw gutlessness! it had an am radio 12inch mags, a sports steering wheel and a chrome tip on the exhaust. got it for $700 and sold it for $100.

what mean this word you use 'topic'? ryosuke sama, how about this one? 1987 rx7 turbo - $8,600+. there's a few on prestige motorsport click 'current stock and vehicles sold' and sort by mazda to make it easy. you can also try j-spec too but i have always had better luck actually calling or going to places so maybe have a look in the trading post as well. good luck with finding one and tell me how you go, if i hear of any others i'll post 'em here and i want a ride when you get one ok? now back to the topic. rezz, yup, you can get those memory cards here but i can never be stuffed.

one day i rocked down to my car jumped in started it up, put on my seatbelt and checked my mirrors... hang on a sec, wtf is that?! got out and some tool had stuck a mccr sticker on my rear window. now maybe they thought i had a nice ride and thought i'd like to join their club but that was definately crossing a line. if i see a car i think is cool i have a good close look at it but never touch it and i definately don't break in to an apartment blocks garage to whack a sticker on it. as to their cruises, attended one and was b-o-r-e-d. saw cops copying down plates and left. i used to scan the for sale section but gave up on even that.

it is out in aust. i got a copy on dvd about a year ago. all stages and the movies. watch out what version you get though as a US company dubbed over the jap into english and changed all the names and stuff. played arcade stage, it's mad! gettin' it on PS2 this weekend!

the price is gonna depend on what version PS2 you got. check out what version and if it's a late one (ver. 7) just look in the trading post, will cost ya $110 installed. if it's an early model like mine (ver. 3) gonna cost about $150.

you can get international items. stuff that alreday has been set up to be able to play in different countries. but forgetting that for now, how can i get a portable mp3 to work through my cars system? do i need an audio line in in my head deck? can i hook it into an amp? what's the best way?

not sure if something like this has been posted already and after 2 bottles of red can't be bothered checking. serious car audio n00b here so laymans terms please. i'm off to japan soon and was thinking about bringing back a new head unit. but the more i thought about it (and the better the dollar does) the better the unit i want to get. was going to get an in car dvd but they scream "steal me!" was thinking to get a mp3 minidisc player and hook it into my current system. how would i do this? would i need an amp? i currently have a shite sony xplode deck. or could anyone recommend other options? help me please! i don't want to come back from japan without a schmick new 'whatever' to show off!

like raver_ace said, go to nissan parts they carry a lot of parts for skylines, slivias etc even if it's a grey import. i got a bucket to fit in my din space for $30. i then put a blue pen in it, sooo handy!

i am interested. now i think about it, i'm yet to see a S13 on the road in aust. with a roll cage. but i'm going to japan soon so i'd be foolish to buy anything car related before i go. if it's still for sale at the end of august though...
