    Whilst I havent done it myself plenty of my mates just removed the seats/seat belts and got the blue slip and that was it

    not sure, ive never done it myself I just put the back seats back in after the track day

    Basically all you need to do is remove the rear seats and the rear seat belts. Then go to a mechanic and get a blue slip to change from 4/5 seater to 2 seater (around $90) from memory. Then off to the rta to lodge it with them and thats it.

    doesnt prevent it just requires money spent on a blue slip for it to be legal removing rear seats gives me alot more room for tyres its not just about making it lighter

    might be different in vic but in nsw for you to legally have no rear seat in nsw you need the rear seat belts removed and the car registered as a 2 seater

    it is illegal unless the car is registered as a 2 seater even if the seat belts are still there, ive been defected a few times for it on the way back from the track

    I used a bride bottom mount rail and redrilled the holes to bolt to my recaro if its a side mount rail though I dont know if that'd work
