  1. Anyone have more pics of this ceff? I belive its the WSX car under the black
  2. done, ill give ya buzz today sometime
  3. Updates? I lost the key for it haha. Got tuned, 395rwkw, 20psi, on pump 98. makes 20 pounds at 4k rpm. Limiter is only at 7200, A twin/tripple plate, e85, 3.5 /4 inch exh and 10 more psi it should go close to 500rwkw, way way WAY beyond my driving abilities Was going to run it down the strip this weekend at calder, but poo weather. Leaving the coilovers in, but full slick and front runner combo. Will most likely run a high 11 at 140ish mph haha. Still need to fit oil cooler and change to r33 clutch fan and shroud setup.
  4. I like that thing, log booked cage a bonus.
  5. Since ya giving away the cars ghosty, send grimace the dr30 down my way
  6. mind ended up being a damaged fuse. So yeah, look carefully at them
  7. Welcome Dave, First thing is.. How handy are YOU with tools? re: 300zx parts,Im assuming z32 300zx? If so, the brakes will not go under 13" wheels. Not even 14" ones. 15's are a minimum, and you still need to get wheels with enough brake caliper clearance. which most old school (watanabe, ssr mesh) dont have anyway unless you use spacers.
  8. I reckon 4k isnt too bad of a price if they body was great. Bonnet pins easy fix, L28 upgrade is a good thing in my eyes. Club rego is awesome and I would do the same in Vic anyway.
  9. needed 2 due to the grunt it made. Also switching to e85/more boost/3.5" exh, when I can afford to set it up.
  10. Ive used bosch where ever possible. Currently have 044 x2 in the cefiro. Just out of interest, where is your pump located?
  11. put some pics up of it in its current condition, yd0r30
  12. to be honest its up to you. Its your car (15" wheels if it was me)
  13. Spring rates are 8kg in the front, around town its not bad, just when I take it to the hills it cops it. that hurstbridge to kinglake road especially.
  14. Yeah my car has rake, all of my cars have lower front ends, just like it I guess. Plus helps with the shit IRS. Sump saver? dry sump haha.
  15. I reckon the first thing you should do is get some flairs you like, then find wheels to suit. the jenisis ones seem too small. I know topstage in the east of melb do fibre and carbon 240z flairs, maybe worth a visit?
  16. Bigger profiles are better(to a degree), more proportional to the size of the car. Gives abit more of a muscle look, and easier to fill the gaurds. Even with running 195/60/15, sump is damaged, as is sway bar and one sway bar mount.
  17. 16x9.5 -13 with 225/45 tyre on the back
  18. $100 posted or $90 pick up from keilor area or his work in sunshine.
  19. Hey, Just sorting out a oil cooler for a project but am wondering what would the minimum size be? Would a -8 AN fitting be suitable, or would a -10 be minimum? I welcome all suggestions and idea's, but would rather get decent info rather than "-10 coz its bigger, so must be better" Thanks!
  20. I guess it comes down to the manufacturer, the repo stuff I have brought is pritty decent, and licensed by GM. If that makes a difference haha Either a fastback or vert will be considerable more than a standard mustang, after looking at a couple in the usa recently, I reckon you could find a better car in aus for the same if not much more dollars.
  21. Rust: screens, rear 1/4's, floors and boot floor. "California car" Dont beleive the hype. Shop around in Aus first, esp if you after a Mustang. As for missing parts and buying spares, I have no idea of a mustang specific repro parts mob in the usa, but the aftermarket support for my less popular chev nova is huge! I know you can buy new repro mustang bare shells, so that should say something about parts availability.
  22. Mike, which way are ya headed from your place to the ndsoc meet? Me, my bro are going to meet up somewhere with a guy in werribee (620 ute)and go to the ndsoc meet.
  23. Marc, its a straightfoward job, have a welder, would rather get another sump preped for a quick swap as i cant have the car out of action. thanks for the offer cazz, but would to like to buy one I might take it as is, and plan the route there avoiding shitty roads. Looking like a good r30 turnout
