Sr20DET510, search through ozdat,datnet etc, ive seen a few R200 Lsd's for sale there, some with C.v's too. Seen a rebuilt 4.6 ratio R200 LSD (abit high for your application) sell for $1200, cant remmeber where i seen it tho... Cheers,

Well seeing that it starts and all....I thought id change spark plugs, oil, oil fitler and fuel filter. What oil filter and fuel filter should i use? Aus spec r30 ones? And what spark plugs and maybe even spark plug gap should i use? Cheers!

Disco, I have seen the close ratio 260z gears go into a stumpy aswell, so the possibility of whatever else nissan can fit in there too

Ca18/Sr20 boxes can be used with a L series bellhousing aswell, same mods when doing the Rb20 box to L bellhousing (enlarged hole and bearing). Ca/sr and possibly Rb20( not sure tho) are about 25mm longer than a long style datto box (Fj20 and z18et box's too). I have a ca18det box on a L series bell here that i might sell due to not using it in my 1600. Another tip when puttin a L bellhousing onto a other box, is too warch the selectors and make sure they dont move, if they do you will only be able to select certan gears, and this isnt much fun after youve put the box in the car... (i know someone who did it). Hope this is sorta on topic and can be usefull?\ Cheers...

The rear is still far from perfect! just thought we would place the bumper and tail light back on to have a look what it looks like. V6 badge came with the car and got the arse with the rear spoiler

Hey, Not much progress lately..... got a question though. Does the hr30 strut have 100mm caliper spacing like the dr one? Oh and aussie spec r30 seems to have the same rear quarter panel! alot cheaper than getting 2door quarters :lol: Cheers!

Guys, What are my chances of getting a pair or a drivers side rear quarter panel for a HR/DR30 2 door?? Anyone know if nissan can still get them? or aftermarket possibly? Maybe a whole bare rear cut DR30? Any help with straightening my lovely HR30 would be great... Cheers,

Thanks... Reason I said alarm due to it possibly having a immobiliser too, previous owner didnt really speak english well and she didnt really know much about it. The hunt for spare continues..

Hey all, Just wondering if i can put 12 volts straight to the coil to see if the l20et fires up? I have no idea where the lack of spark is coming from.... Just wondering if its a bad coil (if so where can i get one from?) or if its the alarm thats killing the spark. Any help would be great... Cheers, Dan

Another pic of progress, slowly getting better.Removed the boot spoiler. Dont mind the rear wheel angle, it has no diff in it at the moment. I might have to cut up a MR30 rear end and see what metal i can make use of and find a way to pull teh quarter panel up coz its sagging near the taillight (look at the boot line) Cheers,

Neo, Ive used rear R31 wheel studs(5 mm longer than the stock ones) in my dato 1600. Im pritty sure that most if not all nis/dat wheel studs are interchangable. As for the TRX wheel nuts, You can either go to nissan and pay $8 per wheel nut or go to the wreckers and pay about $5/10 for a set. The wheel nuts that are used on bluebirds with factory mags are the same as the TRX nuts. Hope this helps. Cheers,

Hey all, Been looking through here for awhile, didnt really post. About a week ago, picked up my first HR30 Pics are located in the link at bottom of this post. Brought of a mid 40's asain lady, family owned for 11 years. Didnt pay much for it. As you can see in the pics, its had a hard hit in the rear. It will most likely be turned into a cheap drifter due to the damage but if i can do most of the panelbeating myself and fix it for a sensible cost, it will be my new daily driver Will also let my learn how efi and turbo works. Unfortunally it is auto (which will get a ca18det box soon) and it is currently having issues with a alarm and imobiliser.
