  1. If you go to the slidewize site you'll find a calculator... I added it up quickly and if it sells for 20000yen you are looking at 473.46 via container to melbourne.
  2. Most l6's have a cam oiler i believe. Dont worry about the rods, im just more interested to know the length for future regerence

  8. We are currently putting a ca18 into dans 1600. Going to be running megasquirt after running the motor in on the standard ecu. Megasquit 1 v2.2, pre-assembled for 240usd and about 30usd for express postage. Cheers, Waz P.s...I think i still got a l20et ecu and afm hangin around if anyone needs one still.

  10. Have always used gasket goo instead of a gasket for the rear housing on the diff and inlet/exh gaskets from supercheap auto... dont know how they would handle abit of boost :\ .

  17. Yeah dave "thehelix" is only using a NA inlet manifold. I know of a couple people with MS installed to their cars. One being a rb30e+t r31 (contact juls on the r31skylineclub, he also has a efi'd 808 mazda with MS ) and thomas(ozdat forums) who has a l20b efi'd with MS and now turboing it.....They say nothing but good words about the megasquirt ecu.

  19. Check relays and fuses, if all ok check power to the fuel pump. All ok probally fuel pump.

  21. An l18 gearbox from a 510 would fit but it wouldn't be a 5 speed unless someone has already put in an r30 or a stanza dog leg box . I just used those cars to say what has the short box.
  22. All Lseries boxes will bolt up, just having them to suit cars is a different story. Datsun 1600, stanza and r30 use short type boxes while the rest have longer ones. To fit a long box you'll need a shortend tailshaft, a new shifter hole sitting further back(also might have centre console probs in a r30? ) and a new gearbox crossmember. CA SR and Rb boxes can also be used with a Lseries bellhousing, Lseries mainshaft or laygear bearing. These boxes also will need a shortend tailshaft and shifter hole further back than a 240k, zed long gearbox due to the shifter sitting further over the output shaft.
  23. sr20/ca18 box on datsun bellhousing is fairly easy. abit longer than a datsun long box tho, so gearbox x memeber will need mods. Ive looked at rb30e, and they looking like a easy mod for a datsun L series bellhousing. So this would mean the rb20det box (same as rb30e bar double synchro's on 2nd and 3rd) would be a goer too?
