  1. It has got the factory setup in it, so apart from what was factory it has nothing. Hence the name of the boost controller kit, it is a boost controller, right? I want to just run standard boost right now. Why isnt the Apexi reading it?
  2. Hey guys, Im hoping someone may be able to help me out here. I have just put in my Power FC and all works well apart from one thing, Im not getting a boost signal back to the Power FC or its just not reading one. Has anyone had this problem before? Anyone know how to over come it or which wire off the back of the ECU is the boost sense wire? Regards, Cristian
  3. It will be tuned professionally. I didnt realise that there was a map to start with, as when you do most other aftermarket ECU's for cars, you have to start from sracth.
  4. I just did the timing belt on my car a few days ago. It had the same sticker, but I checked the belt as I wasnt sure what the stick exactly ment. I dare say that even if it was changed that not all people will write on the sticker to say it has, but thats no reason not to spend 20minutes and check it out for yourself
  5. Will there be ignitoin map in the Power FC to start with? If not, how can I do a "map trace" I thought that If i could get a already proved map, I can adjust to what suits the car best, I thought this way awas better then re-inventing the wheel.
  6. Hey mate, I dont have a 4 door, but if you need a car I can help you out. I have a wine R33, on 18s, nothing really special, but ok I guess. Regards, Cristian
  7. Hey guys, Im wondering if anyone will be able to help me out at all. On the weekend I will be installing a Power FC into my car (R33 S1). Has anyone got a ignition map they have used in their R33 and are happy with, and can I please get a copy of it, this way I have a good starting point. I was after a map that is on a car that has a bigger then standard turbo running at least 12psi, as this is a setup I will be going for. Regards, Cristian
  8. sorry mate dont have any of that.
  9. If he needs stuff i have, I will be more then happy to help him out. Just get me a list of what he needs and ill see what i can do.
  10. I have lots of parts my self just from wrecking cars, but dont have a grill. Check www.ausrotary.com for parts. The guys on there have heaps of stuff. There hasnt been many RX3 grills for sale lately, but keep looking, you may find one.
  11. I was thinking about heading out this friday night to see whats around.
  12. I work for the government. I do admin side of building maintanence, for 8 buildings. So currently I will put my hand up for being a bum. I am going to get a new job in October, and that will make me a mechanic, or at least try to be one
  13. The price quoted is quite reasonable. For a strange reason they are quite alot more expensive, but like has been mentioned it is worth the money. They just plug in with little to no other mods to be done. For earlyier model mazdas i would go for a microtech, but thats it.
  14. Dont get me wrong, you can still make great power from gas. I know of quite a few cars that have gas and have big power. But if it were better then fuel, then i would think that the guys that go for big hosrepower, like at the summer nats would all have gas on there cars.
  15. Yeah they do still get good power out of them, but there has always been the difference in power (only slight).
  16. i sure did and they look great. but i already have one done of my car, a few mate got it done for me. but i was thinking of getting you to do one of my bros rx3 wagon.
  17. if you want some rx7 twin turbos, i might be able to help out, ill have to check under my uncles house
  18. if i sell it i wont by another one. i will continue to spend money on my rx3
  19. i only just bought mine and now im getting convinced to sell it come on guys dont make me sell it, lol
  20. I wouldnt say that they go better, they wont go as good as one on fuel, but the differrences are only slight
  21. There are plenty of cars out there that are turbo and gas. The same principle for fuel works with gas, the more boost you run the more fuel, but in this case would be gas. To get more gas you just add an extra mixer.
  22. Hey guys, Im interested to know if the S2 R33 turbo will bolt straight upto a S1. I dont want to change anything, such as intercooler piping, piping for he airbox and so on. I just want to get rid of the ceramic turbo. If someone could give me a rough price on a turbo aswell would be helpful to Also would like to know if a standard R33 GTR intake/plenum bolt straight upto a R33 GTST? Thanks Guys Regards, Cristian
  23. the wheels you have on the car are only 1 inch bigger then standard so you shouldnt even need an engineers cert for that. the last i heard was that you were able to have upto 2 sizes bigger then standard
  24. well my fuel economy is off, the best i have got so far is 350 to a full tank, and that was average driving. Although my average driving will differ from everyone elses hehe
