  1. So from what i can gather its running to rich and this could be causing the problem. It has been mentioned before but i didnt see an answer, sorry if i missed it. But has the o2 sensor been changed or checked?
  2. It can be a number of things, and like mentioned above timing can cause this. Has it got an aftermarket ECU? What is the fuel pressure? What is the fuel flow volume? Is the air cleaner restricted in anyway? Do you have a blocked exhaust? Is there a vacum leak? How rich was it actually running,? If to rich it might be flooding and thus causing it to miss. Some of these things that are easy to check yourself. Tell us how you go?
  3. I recomemned Rod from Phillip Exhaust, (Rod is the new owner, just for those that may have had a bad experience from there once before) he does some awesome work.
  4. Spotted a Silver R32 this morning at 7:25 at the traffic lights on Mawson Dr and Athlon Dr. You gave me a wave but was to slow to give one back, ops.
  5. Spotted a wine R33 with a blonde driver at the caltex servo in calwell at about 8:30 tonight. Sorry didnt wave, was thinking about other things
  6. Do you mean in Google or on the SAU website?
  7. Hi, I need a ECU pinout diagram for an R33 GTR. If someone can please give me a copy or point me in the right direction it would be much appretiated Regards, Cristian
  8. Ive had a knock reading of 23 and was able to hear it, but on the other hand i have had a few knock readings of 200 odd and havent been able to hear a thing. I cant work it out!
  9. Whe i first got my car (R33 GTsT) It was running a standard ECU and 14psi and i never had that problem. Why would that be?
  10. Ive got the bunji tube to run my second fuel line already, so im not to far off the ball then. currently, ive got a 500hp walbro pump and it feeds 3.5 litres per minute, that seems to be working fine for the power i have at the moment.(last i checked was 211kw) If i went with the surge tank i was thinking i would use a holly blue to feed the tank and have a bosch pump from the tank to the rail.
  11. Ok, well im looking at 400rwkw, and the occasioinaly blat around the track. I know that both are effective (as ive used both in different cars previously). Im interested in setups as far as finding spots to put a surge tank without wasting to much boot space. If i use 2x intank pumps, id like to see how other people have made brackets to hold the second pump close to the bottom of the tank or if they have modified the tank to have an internal surge tank.
  12. Im slowly doing work to my car and now im considering either putting a surge tank in the boot or putting an extra pump in tank. What do most other guys do? Can you please post pictures of both setups if you have them. Regards, Cristian
  13. done that, and just to be sure i grabed 2 cells either side and changed them all
  14. I set my static timing to 0degrees, so therfore i should be able to retard the timing or advance the timing at idle. The value in the hand controller/datalogit changes but has no effect on the engine, it will stay at 15degrees no matter what value i put in. This will happen at all load points accross the map
  15. Ok, I have a problem with the power FC in my car. The story goes like this, I go into my ignition map and change figures, these figures change but have no effect on the engine at all. The ECU will run the base ignition map even though the figures have been changed. Has anyone else had this problem, or may know what might be going on? Regards, Cristian
  16. Spotted about 9:15 yesterday morning a Wine R33 with a blonde woman driving it on Woodcock Dr Gordon. Got a wave, but was day dreaming and gave a late wave back not sure if you saw.
  17. thanks for your helps guys. I measured accross them with a multimetre and they read as low impeadence. once again thanks.
  18. i'm about to start doing some work on a mates GTiR. i'm changing the turbo, manifold, intercooler, fuel pump, injectors, ECU and the list goes on. I started pulling out the injectors and i have a feeling they are not standard ones. They are yellow (imsure this info is useless at this point) What my question is to anyone who may know, what CC are the standard injectors and what impeadence are they. If anyone can help me out it would be much appretiated. Regards, Cristian
  19. This is with a stock turbo running 11psi. I want to upgrade the turbo to a high flow and run around 14psi. The problem is that the airflow meter wont give a correct A/F reading after the signal voltage is maxed out. The airflow metre wont know how much extra fuel to add in as it cant read the correct airflow reading, which means it will lean out every load point above the maxed load point
  20. The airflow metre is maxed at that voltage. I dont think anyone can tune with the airflow metre after its maxed out
  21. Thanks for the info. I want to change because while tuning my air flow meter has been reaching 5065mv @6000rpm in 4th. its close to max and i figured if this works its a beter option then upgrading the airflow metre.
  22. http://www.hksusa.com/products/more.asp?id=858 Has anyone used a HKS VPC on their skyline before, or does anyone know much about them? If click on the link above and read to the end it states that it is used for the factory ECU, does anyone think it will work with a Power FC. Thanks Cristian
  23. I am using an auxillary/external 6 wire wideband 02 sensor. I have got all the equipment to log properly
