  1. All parts now sourced... thank you ~
  2. Good to hear mate... see I told you that you should've checked ALL connectiosn Great work~
  3. Thanks Ed; I sent you an email this morning regarding your conversation with Adam last night (about my car) Thanks for all your help!!!
  4. Items 2) and 3) have been sorted out thanks to Mick and the boys in South Australia. $650.00 including installation If anyone has any of the other items, please let me know - I'm willing to pay good money - the car seriously needs to be back on the road ASAP
  5. I wouldn't have if I had prior information to the place being so dodgey... lesson learnt I guess - expensive lesson! Glass sorted now: $650.00 including all moulding etc. Still Required: Left Weather Guard + Mounting Bracket Centre Console Double DIN Plastic Surround
  6. Double check all the wiring to make sure you've done it correctly... failing that make sure the "setup" process was done right - I remember having this problem as well, all it was was a wrong setting whilst doing the setup stuff. If it still doesn't go good after, send me a PM - you can bring it down to our workshop - we've gone through many SAFC installs now
  7. Thanks to all who have expressed concern and support... I really really do appreciate it. The car at the moment is at home and has been stripped all down the left side (interior and exterior) - just to make the repairs a little easier for whoever does it. Even though I have full comprehensive insurance I've decided that I probably will not go through them. My policy has a $1,300 excess in order to make a claim - I think $1,300 is enough to cover damage twice over (someone correct me if I'm wrong). Would also like to thank Abo Bob, Ed, Blitz, and ecl for stepping in and sorting out parts for me... I gotta say that looking for replacement parts / phoning people up is the last thing I want to be doing atm. Thanks guys! Hopefully it won't be long until SATANIC is back on the road.
  8. I hear what you're saying Merli and you are right... I'm just taking my time to get over this "shock" phase. Just never thought it'd happen Anyways, as I said before, problem is here - now for the fix.
  9. Hey Ed, would you be able to help me out with any of these? http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...T&f=13&t=111197
  10. Anyone got any of these parts?
  11. OK I have asked Westfields if they in fact contacted the police when the incident was reported by Xinhua. Westfield rep very quickly said that yes, Constable Austin from Cronulla Police Station took care of it. I called up Cronulla Police Station to find out more information - only to discover that Constable Austin was the Forensics Officer who attended the scene when I reported it to management. I personally feel that Westfields has failed its customers by not bothering to report anything. If guards were sent to the scene, what where they thinking? Oh, just another smashed up Skyline, oh well...? And to think I spent so much money there that day as well, last time I will ever be going back there - EVER!
  12. Thanks for your input Links. Incident occurred between 1pm and 3pm. I have been in contact with Westfield Mall Management this morning and they are accepting no responsibility. I am looking into this further as I type.
  13. Hi all, I'm chasing the following items to fix up the damage done to my car after some people decided to break into my car over the weekend. If anyone has any of these parts available or know where I can get to them really really quickly, please let me know - car will not be driven until major damage is fixed up. 1) Plastic Surround for Double Din Units (Bracket under Climate Control) 2) Left Passenger Window Assembly 3) Left Back Quarter Window Assembly 4) Left Weather Guard 5) Left Weather Guard Bracket (also holds in door foam mould) If anyone has any of this gear, please let me know ASAP. Thanks Stan
  14. Forensics have taken fingerprints and blood samples for analysis... it'll take a couple of weeks for the results to see if there is a positive ID on anything. 1) All persons who have been in jail will have a DNA profile 2) All persons who have been arrested will have a fingerprint profile. Again, thanks for the kind words guys...
  15. On that note, I may require your statement about it... I find it absolutely ridiculous that Westfields would send guards down to the car and not make an attempt at notifying the owner or the police. If it's needed I will be in contact with you, hope you will provide any required information. I will be discussing all of this with my legal people tomorrow.
  16. Ok I'm going to take that back because I can't prove or disprove anything - and seriously, call or no call it's happened... Sorry mate, my bad~ still really worked up about it, that's all.
  17. Thanks for the support everyone, but what has happened has happened... already sorting out most of the required parts/people to make it all happen again - for now the car is just at home sulking like me Anyways, I was parked on the rooftop level between 1pm and 3pm. I spoke with management and they have said that there are no security cameras on this level (how convenient) If I had known that there was security parking, I would've been in there - everyone who knows me will vouch for the fact that I am very careful with the car and will not skimp on security. Truth of the matter was that I did not know this option existed. There is some development with the signage at Miranda (thanks to the person who did that massive favour for me, you know who you are). I will be looking at action against Westfields - but saying this, the people there were quite helpful. XINHUA - What is wrong with you? You see my car hit in a open carpark and you do not call the police??? The least you could've done for me was notify people at the shopping centre instead of walk off like you didn't even see it. I can't believe you would even have the guts to tell me you saw my car there like that and you didn't do a thing. I am lost for words, but to sum it all up - you're a DOG!
  18. Thanks all... The police, management, and myself all attributed this to a random break-and-entre, nothing fancy so you are probably right - it's not going to be easy finding this person/s. Anyways, shit happens.... just hoping that it all works out very very soon!
  19. That's the thing... I haven't been to Miranda in 10 years (no lie here) and I wasn't aware that there was security parking... my girlfriend drives a Corolla so she didn't think about it at the time... I will never be at Miranda again for that matter... NEVER~ I will be looking at some type of action against Westfields on Monday as I am 100% sure that there was no sign indicating a zero-responsibility at the entrance. Anyways, gonna go get hammered now, that'll relieve the trauma!
  20. I guess the only lucky thing from all of this is that they were amateurs and did not gut my car or worse still, drive off with it. As for the head unit, I've got a spare face plate so that's all ok and sorted. I just wish it was a pro job so that at least the damage will be clean and not a complete mess. My dash and all the window surrounds are FARKED!
  21. Thanks guys... Kamikazee: The cost involved will not be worth my time or the clients'. Also, having a metal kickplate will not be good as metal does dent - purely keeping it to the small replacement plates will mean that it's more manageable.
  22. Hi Before I begin, I have to say that I am extremely pissed off at what has happened today. Went to Miranda Shopping Centre (Westfield) with my girlfriend and her sister, parked in the carpark, came back 2 hours later to find both windows on the left side smashed. Alarm was going off but very surprised to see that no-one had noticed or no-one had chosen to notice. Quarter window and passenger window totally destroyed, all associated window trims destroyed, weather guard snapped in half, b-pillar mould torn off. Glass covered my interior, screwdriver marks on the centre console, and blood was left on the centre console from the person cutting themselves upon entry. Basically the guys have hit my car with a very crude entry and all for what? Stolen is my Pioneer head unit face plate, mobile phone, sunglasses case, and other personal items. The faceplate is from a Pioneer 8650 which is the grey unit with colour screen. Funnily enough the remotes to the system, a $600 pair of sunglasses, SAFC, Boost Controller, Gauges were all left intact. My car has since been stripped for cleaning etc. Forensics have already gone through it and I will be filing a police report later on tonight. There is not much else I can do but I want to know more information and ultimately send whoever did this to jail. I am offering a $3k reward for anyone with information leading to the culprit's arrest. This was an amatuer job (much too messy) and someone is bound to talk about it. SAU is a large community with people in all corners of NSW - someone will hear something. I wonder whether a face plate is worth $3k. Parts needed for repair: 1 x R34 GTT Weather Guard (Left Side) 1 x Passenger Window 1 x Quarter Panel Window 1 x Centre Console Plastic Surround under Climate Control I await any information - if $3k is not enough to turn your mates in, send me your bill and I will happily pay up. This is not out of revenge, it is the principal!
  23. OMG the wheels look SO PHAT on the Stagea... and even more so on the pearl white! Now I see why you wanted them so bad~ Well done Brendan
