  1. I get between 350-400 from an auto which is more agressive when it comes to fuel consumption. When I first got the car I was full concerned about the excessive fuel usage but now I'm over it and I accept the fact that driving a Skyline means paying double the amount for fuel each week On the note of rear bars... jump onto Powerplay Imports - I saw a rather nice GTR rear bar for the GTT that is about $750? Definitely one of the nicer and less "in your face" bars out there~
  2. My suggestion as with all "sudden" enginge faults is to double check all the wiring to the ECU - make sure it's all connected properly and tucked away neatly. Mate has the same problem whenever someone accidently kicks the ECU area as his wiring is not done in the best manner.
  3. They look like R34 calipers to me
  4. Will have the car up on a hoist this weekend to get the dimensions... how do I find out what type of flanges are required?
  5. Have not a clue what model number is required for the ER34 (R34GTT Neo) but I am down for a set if it's $500 delivered to my door

  12. And mate, who are you trying to impress with that catch phrase under your avatar?
  13. I'm keen on a set too... but I just want to confirm what these seat covers actually look like in real life. Are they made for each model's seat specifically? I just don't want to spend $400+ on covers that are loose or do not cover up the seat entirely. If all is good, I will be in for a Black set Can I request some coloured stitching too? Black leather + red stitching please
  14. You like spring roll? Or you prefer vinegar chicken feet?

  20. I'm in Finance... I CAN do taxes but I choose not to... If you have a million big ones for me to play with, I can turn that into a very nice number within 6 months for you though
  21. Mmm interesting read for a Thursday morning Well done on the write up, you've pretty much covered all corners (I think). Anyways, here are a few of my own opinions; I also have a R34GTT auto, only it's the coupe version. 1) The R34GTT is a vast upgrade over the R33GTST; everything from engine to suspension to interior/exterior trim has been upgraded. It would be false to say that there is close to nothing between the two cars. Saying that, the RB25DET in the R33 is a NOT the same as the NEO RB25DET. You will find that once you begin to mod, a lot of the standard things you can do to the non-NEO will not work on the NEO engine. 2) The auto box with tip-tronic selector is a great way to a) get more power quickly, b) have a bit more control over the car and c) have more fun. Even in its stock form, the tip-tronic gearbox is very responsive provided that the ECU does not "prevent" you from changing gears. Believe me, there has been many times when the ECU has just stood up and said NO to a up shift or down shift. However, this can be sorted with only a few simple modifications. 3) When you guys say that the tip-tronic gearbox gives you better acceleration etc etc. I used to believe this too but have come to discover that simply planting it in D gives a better result. If you don't believe me, feel free to try it out. The one thing you will notice is that your boost will not drop off with each gear change, and you will be able to take your car to redline before it automatically shifts (don't be scared that you'll just bounce off rev-limiter) it will shift! Anyhow, I'm sure you'll all come to your own conclusions about the auto in due course - it's been a very fast and steep learning curve for me personally. So many things you can do, so many things you can't do which adds to the challenge and learning experience in my opinion. It'll be interesting to hear what some of your end-goals are for your cars - mine is to build a 300rwkw street-response machine. It will mean that it will be average on the track but unstoppable on the street which is OK as that is where I am most of the time. S
  22. Supercheap auto sell a boost gauge hose/fitting kit for $6
  23. Mmm looks like SAU is dominated by IT people... I guess they need all the excitment they can get after staring at a screen all day long We should have a SAU member "mates rates" thread - list up your profession and what you can offer

Speak as though you have some Asian blood in you my friend Likewise I'm my own boss; so yeah wouldn't mind a nice "client" lunch Just like how I took 2 hours to get a haircut yesterday and brushed that off as a "client meeting" Mmm.. funny how I came back looking totally different
  25. Man if you didn't attend Grammar then you didn't really get the schooling experience you deserved... Nothing beats going to school which is the size of a small carpark, having nothing more than a library and being situtated next to brothels, druggies and most of all Oxford Street Yes I had a screwed up childhood
