  1. I want my colourful tags back Joke, last priority I rekon!
  2. Just confirmed my order with Tony - excellent service! Can't wait to get that along with my breather tank Feedback left = POSTIVE!
  3. Cheers mr 32 Haha, Wink, how about you give me the money to try that one out... then we'll talk! OK someone give me some solid answers... I'm hoping to get this thing on the road in a week or two (making a decision that is)
  4. When you say to whack on bigger injectors and then trim the fuel down using the SAFC, how are you going to control these injectors? Don't you need an ECU that is capable of controlling the new injectors? The standard ECU is only programmed to run the stock injectors as far as I understand... correct me if I'm wrong.
  5. So the general concensus is that not even the Haltech would work? In my Dyno Results thread, we were throwing some ideas around and some people were in agreement that the Haltech will be able to overcome the auto dramas. Anyways, back off to tuner this Sunday - I'll bring a pen and paper!
  6. Thanks for that Paul, excellent read... and I'll take your advice and read up further on the two. Arkon, ROM tuning has been crossed out of my options list - too complicated, too little aftermarket support, too little tuners and at the end of the day too complicated to tune!
  7. Hidden message behind that photo Adrian? Pink Bitz cruise - maybe... depends what time the dyno day finishes; there's about 50 cars going to that so I'm pretty sure people will want to do something.
  8. You're just getting old Adam
  9. Hmmm first time someone has mentioned that... could you explain further? All I've been told is that a MAF will be better than the AFM?!?
  10. Tomei Poncams Type B Then probably do the entire head while I'm at it Should net me the extra 20rwkw... *hopefully*
  11. Yeah on that table it doesn't mention A/T at all... except for the Fairlady Z. I will double check on this, but suppliers say it will work 100%
  12. Cam gears don't do jack apparently....
  13. Babelfish my friend... Up the top of the HKS site, you click on the 2 right buttons that are left in Japanese - it includes a list of all compatible cars.
  14. Well that rules that one out I need the piggy back option otherwise my gearbox shits itself. The other option is to go a fully manualized auto box - then we could run all sorts of ECUs (but that is cheating)
  15. Hehe, shhh.... it's a secret that I didn't have a full exhaust on the day Just to say, 200rwkw is possible without a full exhaust (but not reccomended, it's the expensive way to do it) Next step is to sort out exhaust (once it's fabricated), injectors and ECU. Then we tune for 240-250rwkw using the stock box. By this time I'll have access to a few gearbox options and do the transplant. Following that I'll be tuning for 270-280rwkw The rest of the rwkw will have to be made up for using engine work (I hear cams make a big diffrence Thanks John... Yeah, the cost for the HKS system will be about $1,800 all up (fully optioned) - this is an at-cost price. The F-Con V, that will be different to the F-Con Is right? The only reason I'm considering the HKS system is because HKS actually says it works on autos
  16. You got more power because you had a full exhaust and a bigger turbo I would've broken 210rwkw if I had the rest of my exhaust on the car - damn people taking so long to make it! Well the e11v2 has been given quite a big rep amongst the high HP auto boys... they said that they modify the loom so it's hooked up "piggy back" style - leaving only the gearbox signal intact. I'm still tossing the options around though...
  17. Please add ORGSMK to that list buddy EDIT: added it myself
  18. OK before everyone screams out do a search or whatever; please take 5minutes to read what I'm asking... I've done the searches and there is absolutely nothing on SAU regarding this (especially the HKS item). Basically, I've hit a barrier on my upgrades path - the stock ECU + SAFC2 combination just not pulling its weight and is restricting my current setup to a lowly 198.2rwkw. All the factory protection systems kick in and "terminate" any dyno runs we attempt (fuel cut, rich and retard systems etc. etc.) I have sussed out 3 systems that will be able to fix this problem and provide me with much better tuning capabilities than what I have right now. At the end of the day it's not going to be 100% effective, but it'll be close. The three on my mind now are ITS from Unigroup, Haltech e11v2, or the new HKS F-Con Is. Question: Which one should I go for? (below are some Pros and Cons) * ITS I've never really heard of and its never gone on a 34GTT before - pretty much experimental work here. * ITS is relatively cheaper though for the unit, install and tune (from their website) * Haltech will work after wiring it up in "piggy back" mode, using all signals barr the gear change signal * Haltech is the most expensive of the three for unit, install and tune * Haltech has been developed in Australia, heaps of technical support and its upgradeable * Haltech system will remove need for AFM, existing EBC. * HKS item is brand new and largely un-tested/used in the Australian import scene * HKS Japan advertises that it will work on the R34GTT (as per their website) * HKS is slightly cheaper than the Haltech when everything is installed and tuned. * HKS unit I dare say will have to be "learnt" by the tuner as it is a new system Any opinions or ideas would be much appreciated... looking at making a decision within the next week or so, want to put my money somewhere so I max out the "bang for buck" factor Cheers Stan
  19. 1998 Skyline R34 GT-T (Tiptronic) Custom T04e Hi-Flow Turbo Nismo Fuel Pressure Regulator Bosch 040 Fuel Pump A'PEXi Pod Filter Trust Cat-Back Exhaust (PEii) 3" Hybrid Copy FMIC NGK Iridium Spark Plugs (1.1mm) Hybrid Dual-Stage EBC SAFC2 D1 Limited Edition Tuned using BP Ultimate (98RON) @ 11psi. This was the absolute max we could drain out of the car during the dyno tuning at Hitman - Injection Tuning. The SAFC2 and stock ECU combination was limiting our numbers through the protection systems (fuel cut, rich and retard etc.) However, full boost was reached at 1,800rpm (11psi) and we got 198.2rwkw at the end of the day. Considering we achieved this without a full exhaust  I'd say this was one farkin' good upgrade setup. Next thing is to finish the exhaust with a 3" Front/Dump Pipe and 4" Hi-Flow Cat, get bigger injectors (Nismo 480cc) and a new ECU (thinking Haltech e11v2 or HKS F-Con Is). Then we will be shooting for 240rwkw to 280rwkw depending on how my gearbox likes it But that's ok, there's a new box being designed right now for my car
  20. This sounds interesting indeed... I run 98 RON fuel, this would jack it up to 110RON + Question is; has this system been tested thoroughly by your mate? Interested to know what the full setup looks like, what components are included, and ultimately the cost involved.
  21. Getting my set tomorrow morning... damn that BB stamp of approval is assuring
  22. Does this mean that W/M will be part of your fill up every time you're at the servo? Or can you deactivate this system?
  23. Adam... I have kleenex Want a biscuit?
  24. Front Indicators have been SOLD! Thanks...
  25. Yes, my ex-poofteranian humped everything too... especially this plush bear we had his play pen
