  3. It was the OCAU dyno day out at Dumar Automotive? From memory it was out near Berowra... I'm still in touch with a few other guys from the day (TT Supra and Ford XR6 Turbo) and they are both getting consistent readings. I'm confused now... I thought 156rwkw was quite good for a stock car
  4. Unfortunately after a whole night of umming and arring... I am saddened to say that this box will not fit the R34GTT Main culprit preventing this is the radiator overflow bottle which is in the way big time. I really can't be bothered hacking away at this thing to make it fit as I'm quite sure the finish would not be satisfactory. I'll just make up my own box ~ I will however comment on the quality of this item by Mr_Crust, excellent value for money in my opinion! Anyways, if any of you guys are in need of one for the R33, I have one available (clear top in polycarbonate). Only one available as I no longer need it, contact if interested. All other enquiries to Mr_Crust please
  5. If you would like to come pick it up I will happily assemble it for you. All you need to do is pop rivet 6 holes, that's all there is. The lid is connected using screws for ease of removal. Thanks
  6. Well the dyno reading that I got (156rwkw) was at a dyno day using a Dyno Dynamics dyno in Shootout mode. As I said, I don't know whether your reading is a little sad or my one is a little happy. Everyone else on the day seemed to get quite accurate readings though. Both Links and d00dz were also at this and can probably confirm
  7. If you want to install it without any damage or drilling... use the "wedge" formula Look in the DIY thread for my write up... I've moved it down further a bit since then and used a thicker foam, it's now solid as a rock as the foam actually grips onto the dash trim.
  8. Either this one is a little low or my one is a little high... but my first dyno run was when the car was dead stock. Pulled 156rwkw which mind you is from an auto. Stock manual should get what you are getting if not a bit more... on that same day there was a stock manual who pull about 165rwkw from memory. Just my opinion don't mind me...
  9. Whoops my bad Wasn't thinking too straight tonight, rather angry at something... I should know better!
  10. OBVIOUS NOTES: This will NOT fit the following : 32 GTST, 32 GTR, 33 GTR, 34 GTT and 34 GTR Thanks
  11. 12. Go down to Northshore Prestige; talk to Ben or Chris - tell em Stan with the white R34 sent ya I got my car and a tonne of other stuff off them, known them for many years and can vouch for their service and cars!
  13. Received it in the mail today... will go do a trial fitting tonight, hope I don't have to make up too much in terms of mounting brackets
  14. Wink just took my one on Saturday... it was from a R34 I think I should be able to hook you up with another
  15. In dependant on price... not too keen on spending big dollars on decals as I know I'll probably take them off after a month
  16. Yeah, just get them if you like them... I cop so much shit for having Impuls - but so what? It's my car, I'll do what I like with it thanks
  17. The first thing I did to my car was change ths suspension... being my first real sports car, it was quick enough from stock - just had to learn how to drive this new "power" and control it the best I could. Once I got bored with that and mastered the whole 156rwkw (from stock) I began to look into power mods. I chose to go up one stage at a time and not going all out at once (it's more expensive this way, but it's a greater learning curve). I've just finished a turbo upgrade which will bring it to around 240-250rwkw after the tune. Next thing I'll do is look into Suspension and Braking again (no point going fast if you can't control the thing). Then it'll be back to more power
  18. Yeah, this meet was very good I must say... nice to see members organizing stuff outside of the usual circle of things Sorry I couldn't stay, as mentioned, just started a new business and had to attend to that. Will make more of an effort for the next meet
  19. See I told you there was something going on here
  20. So no one can tell me if the 33GTST item will fit the R34GTT?
  21. Thanks Dave And Wink, glad you liked it... feel free to ask if you need anything else in the future!
  22. This is definitely not a good thing if all the lights are going on... after my SAFC2 install, this was happening as well (intermitantly - maybe 1 time a week). Car would run really crap and required a restart in order to get it good again! Double checked all the wires from the SAFC2 and tucked the loom back very very neatly, problem solved. This was my solution, may not be yours!
  23. Auto Trans Cooler Sold - Thanks!
  24. So cams got you an extra 10kw... $100 per kw, not bad at all I'm sure it would've done something else as well, like improve the drive in some way or another?
  25. Well installation won't be an issue.... so it's just the cost of the part + delivery for me Question for Bass and Abo; on a scale of 10, how would you rate this upgrade in terms of bang for buck? I know both of you probably did a whole lot of other stuff at the same time, but give it your best opinion Cheers guys S
