on a Simi-related topic would it be safe to upgrade the rb20 turbo with a rb25 or neo turbo while running stock computer?? i realise there will be greater airflow but is a ecu upgrade or a chipped ecu necessary?? p.s. sorry for hi-jacking ur thread danny boy

Did anyone actually end up going to the auction i wanted to but couldn't afford the time off school, i used to go pickles auctions alot back when i was looking for a commodore but that was a while ago, i never knew they had a japanese performance vehicles action i always thought it was only prestige vehicles so i never bothered to look anyway as far as i could see there were three R34 GT-Ts that were coupes and manual one black, one white and one silver i would love to know how much these went for or if they got passed in and at what price so if any one went can you please post up the details let us all know what the prices are like and if its worth going there to check it out cheers

hey guys i was thinking about buying this 1993 R32 GTS-T on carsales: http://www.carsales.com.au/pls/carsales/...rch_distance=25 i have to ask u guys a few Questions, your experiances and expertise would be valuable here a few things woried me when i rang him.. - first of all, he said he wanted 13.5K not 12.3(it was a 'mistake') but will sell for around 13K CASH! - its been running on 14psi (and apparantly made 167rwkw) for few months, now its back to normal - may need a new clutch (not a big problem) - and the main problem i have with it is he said he bought it from his neighbour for 14K 9 months ago and its still registered under his neighbours name This seems dodgy to me, like the cars been stolen, its a rebirth, theres money owing on it or he could just run off with the money once paid, because if he dosn't 'own' it then how can he be selling it. WHAT DO U GUYS THINK? iwould appreciate ur honest opinion i just don't know how it will work if i buy it, how would i get it registered under my name?? p.s. im in ViC

I think its the proto for the v36 skyline it looks good, but keep in mind it is only a proto. It doesn't have the feel of a skyline more a 350 I miss the circle tail-lights i think the era of the cars we are all used to and love have passed, i guess we can't live in the 90's foreva would it be available in a turbo version?? yep errupt concepts are prtty good thay have done some very nice cars i know sum1 that got his bemma done there - full white leather seats, dash, doors, roof etc. if you want to know where they are located let me know and ill tell u the address coz i drive past it alot but i forgot the name of the street its on

GTCC = ??? im 19 and currently looking to buy a 32 gts-t (my first car *yay*), i have been quoted from just cars $2022 full comp, no accident history blah blah bla. im under the impression this isnt to bad considerring when i was 18 it was like $3000 a yr, but there is still a $1100 - $1800 excess deppending on mods i havent really tried to get quotes from Shannons or famous or neone else because thy require u to prvide a chasis no. and so on, n since i havennt got the car yet i cant really give them a chasis no. newayz so i jst wanted to kno how much it would b wit Shannons or famous or suncorp or neone else u guys can think of. aslo if being an actual member of SAU Vic means u have a better chance of being insured wit Shannons??? and wat else can one do in order of having a better chance with the insurance companies such as shannons? (Torque or Unique - never heard of em) neways thats about all for now lol

im a bit confussed does this mean if i bought a R32 gts-t and fitted a 3" exhaust or a coooler it is illegal for me to drive because it exceeds the P:W ratio?? i thought it went on factory figures
