  1. www.iselect.com.au I used that website to find the right insurance policy for myself, which was a basic hospital one to avoid the medicare surcharge.
  2. Does everyone know that cars can be sighted by an engineer, and approved to run 19 or 20" wheels. Cost is about $420 and means you wont be defected for 19"s...
  3. Im interested, if this question can be answered re GPRS connection to a static IP. You might need to ask the distributor for the installation and user manuals, or get someone to scan them in and post them up.
  4. I'm keen for 1x O2 sensor. Put me down. Is there any warranty? I bought one from an ebay store which failed after a couple of weeks - they said it had a 12 month warranty, but i never got around to sending it back for testing.
  5. I like your front Grill, but not your bonnet vent, looks tacky. Nice placement of your boost gauge
  6. You shouldnt need to start it to get it on the tow truck - towies are used to picking up wrecks which cant drive. He'll use his winch.
  7. Check with a touch-up or mobile dent repair guy. It may be repairable without needing a full re-spray?
  8. Looks good Steve, How did you take the drivers door control panel off? I've resprayed my dash a matt black, and now need to do the door handle bit.
  9. I've seen a dash + the associated centre console+door trim parts which had been done professionally, similar to modicoat, and it looked awesome. Easy to keep clean, not too glarey, but i imagine it'd be quite expensive to get done!
  10. When i got my set, i didnt think i stipulated the year of manufacture or the series. I didnt think the interior would matter when it comes to seat covers, even the tight-fitting leatherette ones.
  11. I've read before, about people spraying their seats with adhesive too, for a better finish. You could try these links: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Bu...;hl=seat+covers http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Le...;hl=seat+covers
  12. Was that near Semaphore/Pt Adelaide, on the esplanade Cara?
  13. I never really liked white wheels on white cars, but they look sweet.
  14. I'm after a 33-space saver wheel too, went to use mine the other day, and its a 4-stud! Doh! I haven't tried the wreckers yet, but im sure they will have one.
  15. My experience with the courts is that it's the judges who are handing out the lenient sentances, not Mike Rann. However if parliament wanted to do something about it, they could pass law which has tougher minimum sentances.
  16. I haven't looked under my bonnet, but maybe you can take the plug off the rear wiper motor, and put it on the front wiper motor. If this doesnt pump water, it means the motor/pump is buggered and needs replacing. If it does, means its a fuse/switch issue.
  17. Get some splitter cables, which you plug one end of the cable into, and it gives you two cables out.
  18. Do they even have a relay? Maybe you mean fuse... Multi-meters are great for electrical diagnosis!
  19. I leave my plug on, and twist the whole thing. Anti-clockwise obviously.
  20. Thats a good idea, because then you can hear the car turning over, trying to start, and gives you time to get out there and beat the f**k out of them.
  21. It will already have a solenoid in the passenger door, you'll need one in the Drivers door.
  22. I've got a white 33, and in a couple of locations, the paint went a bit hazy. I did a cut + polish, and it came up fine, waxed my car, and all was ok. Except now a couple months later, its happened again in the same spot. Do you know why it would keep oxidising there? Will it keep happening? I think its actually happened twice there already.
  23. Yeah those BSA's look a bit similar, except they are chrome, not shadow chrome. I've also found a set of 19" Rodney Jane Racing wheels on ebay which have the same look as the ANZ Tycoons. I really like the smooth look of them, but judging by the response of a few of my friends, and the comments on here, i should be getting some sort of big dish rims!
  24. Nah i found out they were ANZ Tycoon's which were only available in 18" rims, and are now discontinued anyway. So i'm back to the drawing board to look for a wheel thats similar.
  25. Mine used to have it, until someone stole my car and took it. Would like to get another one for sentimental reasons!
