im after a R33 GTST ABS diff with 5 bolt half shafts. i need pics of where the ABS sensor is & where it bolts to the tailshaft so i can see if it will fit my car. pm me if you have one for sale, syd only!

after a remote oil filter adapter with sensor holes, i got a oil cooler kit with relocator (which has no sensor holes) and i dont want to screw a sandwich plate on top of the relocator as that looks messy & i dunno if its safe?? unless someone whos done it can prove its safe lol. pic:

well it happened again this arvo, but it was idle on around 1.6 this time. i turned the car off and turned it back on and it was back to normal. any ideas?

i think mine is 5 hole? ill have to double check. if all goes well im going to buy a R33 GTST ABS diff with half shafts tomorrow. also one more thing, will the R33 diff bolt to the R34 GT25 NA tailshaft? yeh my NA R34 is open centre, 1 wheel spins only

im about to put a 2nd hand diff in my car, (r33 GTST into a R34 25GT) my car has ABS but the diff is a NON ABS unit. would this cause any dramas and is there any way i can transfer the ABS over from my original diff to the R33 one? ive searched and came across a thread that stated i could swap the rings over from the original ABS to the non ABS and this would therefore make it a ABS unit. any help much appreciated. cheers

yeah i notice my pressure all the time. its never dropped this low, ever! so thats why when it happened, i noticed it right away. im using full syn 5w30, when cold it stays around 4bar, when it warms up and generally it stays around 1.9/2bar so ive never seen it this low. should i not trust the standard gauge reading ? lol oil was changed less then 2500km ago (new oil & filter)

got another issue guys, im about to buy a 33 gtst diff with the shafts but it came off a non abs r33, would this cause any issue with abs on my car ?

after driving yesteday for around 20minutes, i noticed on idle that the oil pressure gauge is on 1.3 bar (usually at 2bar) the car still drove normal, idled normal, no funny smells or smoke, if my oil pressure was actually faulty, would i notice it with some of weird idle, vibration or smell/smoke? no leaks of oil anymore, oil levels are fine. i turned the car off and waited a few minutes and turned back on and it was fine. after driving again for around 15minutes today, i noticed it dropped again to 1.3bar on idle. are R34's known to have faulty sender units like how coilpacks commonly die in R34 & stageas. any help much appreciated. cheers

negativem, r33 GTST will fit the R34 NA tho i think r33 gtr fits r34 GTT & r34 NA 4WD

hi, are you talking about the diff complete wth axles or just the diff centre only? if its the complete housing, how does the ABS go, or do you get a non abs one ? reason why 33 gtst diff is a better option because its more readily available and its cheaper. even if its a viscous, its still better then 1 wheel spinning. try going up a driveway on an angle with a single spinner with a lowered car, theres been a few times ive got stuck and had to get out and push lol are R33 gtst half shafts 5 hole or 2x3 hole ?

where are you located? interested in the wing. any chance of pics fitted to the car.

if the copper that pulls you over knows their shiet, they will look for the intake pipe and should know that it runs directly off the TB straight to the airbox (as all NA's do it). if you get a noob copper who doesn't know anything then you're lucky. nice clean setup tho
