I was going to come down but I haven't managed to fix the damn missfiring issue!

Hey all, I have a 97 Stagea with the rb25det which is the series 2 engine and am having an issue with the car missing once the car is warmed up. I've tried the basic things like: - clean afm - replace afm with a known working one. - new plugs - wrapping coil packs in electrical tape - testing coilpacks. I get nothing with these as when the car is cold it runs perfect. So, I'm getting down to the harder stuff now and am blaming it on the coilpacks. Is there anyone out there with a set or even a single one I can borrow for cash or beer so I can narrow this fault down before forking out for a new set. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Shaun

V series tard parked at 1st choice liquor in bentley. I'm not one for damaging people cars but if you park like this all the time, I can see other's doing what I want to do.

a big thumbs up for allens cv's. took the stagea and gtr in and they were a great help. two outer cv's replaced on the stagea, plus reconditioning and new boots on the inners for 600 odd (inc labour). and a new outer on the gtr for 230 inc.

Silver S1 stagea a few cars behind me on Albany Hwy this morning @ 8am in cannington. was in the gtr. Also, a nice white one with black rims departing carousel @ 7pm tonight. very nice

last saturday, 4 houses down or so from my house in maddington. Same damn stagea as mine, red s1 along with an r34 parked next to it. Also had a SWAT sticker on the back. when I first went out I didnt see the car and was wondering why the fark the guy out the front was staring at me so much, then came back and saw the car the young lady who owns/rents/whatever that house works at the dutch butcher which is where my partner goes for lunch most days.. damn small world .

I was sorting through all my old junk and came across the spare set of keys for it. 1 entry/ignition key. 1 alarm/immobilser remote. 1 key for the alarm. The car was a 92 R32 gts-t and I sold it to autoworx last year sometime and they have since sold it. I cannot remember the plates on it as I had personal plates on it and swapped it over on the day of sale. It's gunmetal grey, rollcage, recaro seats, sparco rims, gtr bonnet/spoiler. If your interested in getting a hold of these I can meet you somewhere and hand them over. You MUST have the car with you and no, I do not want to meet at your house. yeah, I agree with Brockas.. you bought the car for a reason.. screw how much it costs in fuel. It's farkn fun to drive!! I get 250km's per tank around the city, 300-350km if I drive to collie. It usually takes 55L once it hits E. r33 gtr, 500ponies, 1.3bar.. You sit there on idle in a garage and begin to get high from the fuel and then you notice the floor turning black, delicious

late, but.. for anyone reading this, if you ask the ladies at the counter (of the ginza showroom) they have a nissan office just around the corner. I went there when the GTR was released and got to see the R in all of the colours, they also had all the other cars in their lineup. About 15-20 cars on display. Cima, 3.7L skyline etc. Ive also stayed at the shinjuku washington, bah! Shaun

I had this problem just the other day and thought I should post it as I came across it on the UK gtr forums but there was nothing on this forum at all about it. http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/upload/37449-he...s-dash-r33.html I went to go to work and tried to use the rear windscreen wiper but no water was coming out, then the ABS, 4WD and A-LSD(slip?) lights came on permanently so I parked it back in the garage. The windscreen wiper water had gone inside the car and over the ATESSA computer and wiring, awesome! After a good clean inside the computer, the plugs, the G Sensor and everything else around the back of the car with CRC Co Contact Cleaner it sprung back into life!! The windscreen wiper is now disabled! Shaun

damn, there's alot of variations out there. car: 97 33 gtr v-spec, 500 odd ponies. value: 36k mods: turbo's, cams, exhaust, ecu, rims, alarm etc. age: 29 insurer: justcar price: $850 excess: 3.5k history: loss of license less than 5 years ago. most places said F*^* OFF. Justcar said 'whatever', just the excess is a lot. But if I crash it, 3500 is the least of my worries.

hey, did you manage to find a computer from a wrecker/importer at all? friggin rear wiper water all went into the car and I think it has fried the ecu. first time I used the damn wipers too ta Shaun

black preferably.. not sure if the Series II Vspec bars are different but thats what I want. OR swap for this front bar the lip is attached to the front bar so there is no separating it otherwise I would have done it already. Shaun

get some from repco/supercheap/veals/whatever.. I got my last lot for my hack rims for $1.10 each.. nut style Shaun

yeah, the red looked the best I think then black, gunmetalish, silver, white and that weird goldish/bronze colour. here it is with smoked rims Shaun
