235/45/17. r32. 200rwhp bridgestone s03. dry: 9/10 wet: 9/10 saved me once value: 6/10. kankook k104 dry: 8/10 wet: 8/10 value: 10/10. got these for 200$ each, the s03's were over 300 so the value for the s03's is lower when compared with the results and cost of the k104's. kumho supra ecsta (cant remembr the exact model) will never use these again, they were so crap in both the wet and dry.

gave the Ventus 104's a run today in the wet and they were pretty good, no loss of traction accelerating fully through second in a straight line. Most of the other tyres ive used break loose at around 5500 RPM or so. car has 210wrhp. Shaun

you will find most people buy cars just to look good in, they dont give a shit about motorsport and probably dont even watch it on TV. having said that, most skyline drivers are like that. Shaun

aaaand noted quick Q. My car doesnt have adjustable camber tops but the camber can be adjusted via height also can't it? (like you see with people who dump the shit out of their cars and have a heap of camber on them) the reason i ask is that i put in another set of coilovers (last one got a tad bent) a little while back and the camber was fine for each side previously. after whacking in the new ones i just put the heights to about the same as i was going to get it done properly later on but now the camber on the left is 1 deg different. yeah, it was mid march .. then mid april .. now its changed to may 15th because of the works. hmmm, i got some castor rods coming in soon, once i get them installed and my suspension all sorted out i might start entering then. i work from home now so the poor car just sits in the garage all day long whats the SES website? the cheapest and most fun form of motorsport ive found so far is going down to the collie motorplex and just doing laps. 50$ for the day with AFARCC (6 weeks time), no cams required, then just factor in tyre/brake wear i guess. alot more fun than the drags or mc which ive been out of for about a year or two, I planned on entering SES this year but it didnt happen. Good luck but it will never be the same. You will probably need to buy a heap of adjustable suspension components to get the wheels lined up also. I hit a kerb a few years back and ripped the front left wheel off. Replaced ALL the suspension components but something still isn't right. had to get some castor rods as she was pulling to the left slightly SHaun

I'll get Harvey (zee boss) to give the cops a call and see what happened to them. The law is a joke, my sisters car was stolen outside Kailis in Leederville while she was working, they came into the place and went for the staff pigeon holes and grabbed her keys. They had the for about 24 hours and my sister and her bf were out cruising to try and find it and they spotted it and called the cops. This ended up in a pursuit around perth ending up in belmont with the car in a tree. F*#%n b!tches (all 3 were 16) got off scott free. I think them being all Aboriginal may have helped with that too. One was even a social worker, WTF! The coppers even said to my sister she had no chance getting any sort of reimbursement from them. GRRRRRR.. Shaun

Dang, I hope it ends in good luck. Anybody here have kill switches in their car along with their alarm? Or those GPS tracking systems that can kill the power to the ECU with a simple phone call? I personally have 2 in mine, I put them in there because the car had no protection at all before it got complianced and the alarm was installed. I beleive it would help in an instance like this as they'd never be able to get the car started even with the keys. Shaun

The GF's boss was going home the other night (tuesday) down tonkin highway and some kids threw a brick at the van and it hit the windscreen and smashed the sh!t out of it. He kept driving for a little, turned around and chased them down and held them there until the police came and took them away. Being young i bet nothing will happen to them, they should be made an example of. I'll see if she can get more info into what their punishment is, if any. Shaun

the GF works at kartmart and last year they got ram raided and a kart was stolen. they left some blood on the scene and traced the mofo's down. so yeah, they do use it for small cases. Shaun

any auto store will have bulbs for them as they are just common bulbs. mine were H4's (i think) and the last one i got was from a servo as it blew at night. Shaun
