karting is great fun. best tip is to start out in the mid range karts and work your way up. the 125's are pretty punishing to start off with but it all depends on your size and background. but give kartmart a buzz.. my parter Megan is the one behind the counter and she should be able to help you with your karting needs. hurricane kart club is a good club to join as they dont charge members for practice use (except club runs etc) unlike the others. also, for those with 125's, shifters and opens once every three months or so there will be meetings down at collie, contact kartmart or cockburn kart hire regarding this, the next one is at the start of december from memory. hey. just had an RBT done and the copper said if he wasnt doing the RBT he'd book me for my tint. i argued with him that it passed compliance etc because the tint is actually in the glass. anyone (wa preferred) had any issues with this before or do the pit guys just let it ride as it's in the glass? the back windows are very dark but the front has minor tinting in the glass, same with the rear window. i assume this is standard on stagea's or an option. i have a 96 S1 fully optioned model. thanks Shaun

new to the stagea clan with a stocker rs4. im getting the same as i use to get with my 32, 400km's per tank (about 50-55L's to fill up). this is all city driving to work in the centre of perth, 25km's each way so i dont think its too bad for the power it has and how much it friggin weighs Shaun

get leather, its more robust than fabric. the kidney bits on my recaro's started to wear away from getting in and out of the car so i got the sides redone and the centre of the seats (fabric) cleaned it they look back to brand new Shaun

quick q for trukboy: i am wanting to do this conversion myself very soon and a friend has a S2 Manual frontcut minus the engine, having the cut should make it a crapload easier to do as everything should be an easy swap. i hope mine is a Series 1. Shaun

bah dont listen to the crap about having custom plates and being picked on. we have 3 cars, all with custom plates and have NEVER had a problem, the tip is to not drive like a friggin moron in your local area. its pretty simple! Shaun
