  1. I've replaced the 3 rubbers on each injector after a few started leaking. Total cost for the 18 required was about $160 from nissan!

  4. Yeh still running standard intercooler. A bigger aftermarket one will get intake temps down further but as said above wouldn't probably do much for a single 1/4 mile run
  5. The ashtray ended up in the back seat somewhere..couldn't believe it when happened grrr The 12.5 was at a 1.7 60 ft 1.79 to be exact..did the 1.70 on the ashtray affected run Had a few close runs with MADGTR 2nite, he did a best of 12.4 i think.
  6. I had 5 runs and left just as the burnouts started at 9. Yeh should be a fairly low 12 with some proper setting up. . One of my runs - Had a great start with a 1.70 60foot (lowest for the night), hit 2nd gear pulling damm hard and the bloody ashtray fold out thing in front of the gear stick comes crashing out and blocking me going into 3rd gear!! Damm thing was full of loose change so it ended sending it all over the floor of the car haha..Cost me a good run!!

  8. Car's going pretty good. No dramas since new tune Just got to fix up an ongoing tailshaft type vibration. After that will take it down to WSID to get a time.

  10. This morning on kissing point rd I saw the HPI 4door R32 GTST, the greeny one with the RB24, volk rims etc etc looks cool in the flesh. Blacktown saw a old guy (sorry, middle aged) drive a tidy silver 32 GTR, plates were TOP 32R i think..
  11. I might be interpreting what my tuner said wrongly..anyways, it could spool quicker. How much i don't quite know. I'll find out then post up.
  12. No i dont have a regulator or hand controller unfortunately.. the inducing lag bit didn't come out quite right. My tuner said basically if there could be more fuel put in down low it'd spool it up quicker, but the stock injectors are pretty close to their limit and pushing them closer would be living dangerously. So, if I did the fuelling upgrades im sure we could get it spooling quicker, how much quicker I got no idea. Yeh got HKS cam gears..don't think they were adjusted with latest tune for new turbo's.
  13. Didn't pick up a printout of the torque curve but i'll get one as soon as I can.
  14. Yep rwkw. The stock injectors surely induce that 'lag' so to speak, the tuner said it could be slightly better but the stockers are pretty much close to their limit. Cams would be the other big contributor. Don't know duty cycle of the injectors, if I get my hands on a pfc commander i'll see then. Mine made 252rwkw's on the stock turbo's.
  15. I just had mine comp tested at Grey imports here in sydney. 190 highest and 180 lowest..maybe gauge was reading high? But still pretty even which is a good sign, nathan there said, no need for a leak down test, its pretty good.
  16. Hey, Today I finally got my GTR tuned with my GTSS turbo's and MINES dump pipe upgrade. MRC in Castle Hill who installed the turbo kit a few months ago did all the tuning work on it. Just for information value current mods on car is.. GTSS turbo's Mines dumps HKS front pipes Trust PEII cat back Cam gears Profec b boost controller Power fc Apexi pods So still standard intercooler, injectors, pump, air flow meters etc. As the graphs show it made 275kw's at 1.1 bar and pretty good 12:1 air fuel ratios. Boost is very steady after the initial slight spike. Car feels a whole lot better. Only downside is the air flow meters are maxed out, and to be expected the oil temp does creep up quicker and go higher. Nothing that a cooler wont fix. At this stage the fuelling and cooling will probably stay as they are as I dont have the money at the minute to upgrade, but all is very safe none the less. It did make a peak of 294kw's but he pulled some timing out just to be on the safe side. Overall very happy with the performance and service of Mark at MRC. NOTE* If anything is thinking of doing GTSS turbo's on their GTR DO IT!! They're awesome street turbo's. And to those with cams aswell even better!

  18. I bought mine from Victoria and brought it back to NSW. It needed blue slip, change to nsw rego then i had to get a 'supposedly random' RTA inspection at one of there major checking stations. Which checks if it's a rebirth or majorly unstructurly safe. Took about a month to be all done once I bought the car. This was 2003 by the way.
