  1. Hi, im installing a pair of rb26 cams into a r34gtt head. I measured the clearances before with the old cams, and they came to 13thou inlet and 20thou exhaust, they had been set by an unknown head shop previously, and i heard the car run. This seems to be the opposite to the clearances of a rb26, can anyone shead some light on this?
  2. I have a set of drilled front discs in near new thickness
  3. Hey nick, wondering if you have a standard coil pack cover for a 32gtr?
  4. M11 head bolts, just the vct needs to be blocked and an external feed as per r33. The acl's with a 1.6 head gasket gives 8.5:1 comp, however 2mm of squish.
  5. I would do a compression test, check ignition timing and then cam timing, but for $50 get a power run on a dyno, maybe you are axpecting too much, if it is a standard r32 gtst, they arent rockets.
  6. i think -3 is way too small for the water lines, i always use -8 or -10. If your prepared to do the work yourself, you can always order all the parts from motorsport connections in sydney, They have an online catalogue, The parts will probably came top around $200-250
  7. I have done this on many highflowed turbos, and have had good results with gaining better boost control, open up the hole until there is about 1.5mm of metal for the flap to cantact, then blend the inside of the housing where the ehaust enters the turbo as much as possible without giong too thin in the wall, as this will make it more susceptible to cracking. I am a little concerned that it still overboosts with the gate wired open , as it really should hardly make any boost at all.
  8. Just wondering if anyone has completed one of these conversions with a r34 gtt head, im currently building one with acl forged pistons, and the head measured up to 50-51cc combustion chamber size, just wondering if this is normal or has the head been decked to the buggery?
