Stolen Wheels! not really, but i thought that would get more ppls attn - cause they nearly were i parked my car out the front of SydneyUni Cumberland CAmpus on tuesday, from 1230-200pm, 2 c my gf @ uni. i was driving back along parra rd to my uni when i noticed my car wasnt handling too sweet - go out, caus i thought there was a major ****up with alignment or somethin, and noticed my front RHS wheel was missing a nut, and the other 4 were loose as. moral - not too sure, but maye a quick walk round just to check the nuts r on tight? so maybe someone wasnt tryin to steal them, but they sure as hell loosened them , and the thought of having a wheel come off at 80km/h is more than somewhat scary...

craz0, id check ur insurance contract, namely the details of disclosure. the wording will vary from company to company, but the gist is about as follows- if u dont tell us about things which make ur car faster, more attractive toi thieves, illegal(according to your state laws, ie zorst, bov, rim size) then we dont pay fo your crash/theft etc. the best thing u can do is make sure that a: all your mods are legal b: they are approved by the insurance coy c: if not strictly legal, see if u can get them engineered to be so d: the insurance ciy is informed of any and all mods doing this will save a lot of hassle and possible heartache in the future, cause we dont want u to end up as another one of those 'the insurance company wouldnt pay when i wrote off my car cause my whels were an inch too wide' stories... nb: faaaaaaaaaaaark! lucky cheap quoted bastard!!!

just my 2c, but evry rexy ive been in doenst feel as solid or well put together as a skyline-by no measure are they a bad car, but just not quite up there. if its AWD handling u crave, get a GTR. And remember, u cant drift (okay, i no the jap dudes do, but generally...) in a rexie either. i was considering one, but they're just not as good on a value for money basis. even the v5 and 6 STI's are okay, but for 40g + u could get a nice 33 GTR, and this is, IMHO, a far superior car. how did u find the torque on a rex with only 4 cyl as opposed to 6. trust me, wen u get the line back, youll wonder wat the hell u were thinking...

if you're interested in a hf cat, a guy on these forums can get catco 3 inch ss for about 160 i think. check the fs section as for punching the cat, ive *heard* that this causes turbulance that will slow u down if anything. but wen my mate did it, his car felt a lot quicker, so who no's? but if u wanna risk it, or for track, then id say get a catout pipe too - no restrictions there...

whats a good new job i can do? my current one (sales) cracks me due to not too cool product leading to more complaints than sales... are all sales jobs like this? and has anyone done a b.com recently - how did u go about getting work experience etc/finding a job? were employer nights the way to go, the uni careers centre, or just looking in the classifieds, or job agencies? i ask cause im finishing up mine in 4 months, and havent really had any good advice as yet... thanks ppl

mate, i had no idea y we went either -but it was a good drive-found out my car doesnt have limiter, but backed off a little over 200... he he oh, and blew off the inner guard... oh well... yeah, i actually e-mailed them, i dont expect too much of a response, but u never no...

hmmm, so i just got back from what would have to be one of the $hitte5t nites out ever! a group of us decided, in a fit of boredom, to go up to central coast leagues, the infamous club troppo, to c wat it was like, in search of a 'different' nite out. we arrived at around midnight, and no sooner had we got out of our cars (a 32, 33 and vt wagon) than we were surrounded by security - they informed us that they didnt want us there, and we were to leave. on asking why, and after being given the usual "we dont need a reason, private property" bs (yes, yes, i no this is all true, but after an hour and a half driving, some reason would be nice), we were told that becasue our cars, and the way we drove(we were off boost, just modded zorsts etc, not even a ricey bov) we were not wanted... now, is it just me, or is this complete and utter BS!?! im well aware that a registered club can refuse entry to anyone they wish, bu to do so to 7 people, none of whom had been drinking, due to their choice of vehicle, and percieved personality that goes with it, seems a little stupid. oh yeah, and when asking for the names and security id #'s of bouncers, this was not given. and one dumbass bouncer had the audacity to threaten us?! not smart, and will be attatched to our formal complaint to be forwarded to the club. sorry if this was a long post, but i had to get it off my chest, and see if anyone else has copped this up there - and also to say not to waste your time on the drive if thats your destination... ps - mods - sorry if naming names will get u in trouble-if u have to for egal reasons etc, u can edit my post, but id prefer people were informed about a club - sort of a venue review, if u will. in this case, two thumbs DOWN!
