  9. hmmm, so, say i was thinking of selling my car? 1996 R33 GTSt Series 2, Black 60,000 k's how much should i ask for it - i dont wanna ask too much, but, on the other hand, i dont wanna ask too little? im thinking of advertising in the next few weeks - trading post etc... It's as my signature says, with an Apex'i Timer, and thats about it - oh yeah, and aussie spec head unit I know that this brings the subjective element into play, but, it is in immaculate condition - ie interior, paint etc... he he but then again, i no everyone says that... so, opinions?... Thanks everyone
  10. 185 on my first bike -CBR250RR - scary and fun, as measuered by a 929 erion that was sitting right behind me. skyline - limiter, but thats son to be gone... i'll c wat it does...
  11. sorry ronin - have to give it a miss - boss decided to renig on my day off... not happy-hope u all have a good day
  12. used to ride a bike used to lane split nearly got killed lane splitting more than once sold the bike bought a skyline y fight over it 4? either way, legal or not, its dangerous to the rider, and due caution should be exercised by the driver. be the bigger man (or woman) and let it slide if a rider does it to u. its not, as merli said, worth knocking someone off their bike just cause ur pi$$ed that they chopped u. of all the stoooopid stuff to get worried/got to jail/potentially injure someone over, this would have to be the stupidest... my 1.42JPY
  13. ...just a thought, and chances r, im wrong - but maybe the cop was full of it. i have a mate who's a cop, a d, and he has a very low opinion of highway to say the least. but he's also told me that most cops-not highway-if pulling u over, dont really no the rules etc. to illustrate this point, i was told that creeping 4ward at lights (on the green) to turn right, would result ina $100 fine and 4 points by highway, and told my fine was in the mail. another time, a police officer, on foot, ran up to me when i was parking my car and told me it was a 3 point $227 dollar fine for having 'one of those damned blow off valves' - this was on a stock 33 with recirc bov. as such, they general employ, for lack of a better term, scare tactics - sure, in this case, he had a legitimate cause for pulling you over, but in many cases this is not so. I was further told by my friend (the cop) that some guys, plain clothes general duties, are trying to get into highway, and see pulling as many ppl as possible over as their ticket in. The officer will pull u over, make up some bogus charge, fine, loss of points,, etc, and then say ' the fine is in the mail' - ie to make u nervous - it appears to have worked. i have been told to expect, in my sub 3 years on the road, in the region of 10 'fines in the mail' - still waiting for the first one to arrive... the moral to this story/rant/waste of bandwidth is that if ever u recieve any fine/warning as described aboce, exercise due diligence on your own part - take down all details, and cover your own @ss, and, make sure you yourself are informed about rules etc. ....or just dont get caught speeding
  14. i get it a fair bit too - ive brake tested them a couple of times - that seems to work, cause they no wat youre up to. either that, or i do a solid 20k's below the limit...
  15. he's keeping the fmic for the new engine, but the LT8 is definitely for sale though if you're interested, please call him on 0410 69 00 26 - im not quite sure what he'd be willing to take for it thanks Michael
  16. he just told me that the microtech is available seperately - $1300 ono this cost $1750 new, and has been tuned for the RB20, so there shouldnt b to much to do. Is wired into the RB20 harness - will swap for a standard harness if u want.
  17. exactly - (not to mention its stupidly and infintely cooler - and rarer. i mean, look at the plethora of 33GTsts on the roads now - me included - what if this happens with 34's too?) however, either is an awesome car, and im sure youll have a stupidly large smile plastered on your face 24/7 either way. .....im jealous....
  18. maybe he means the whole hondas as lines thing - ie an 88 prelude with 32 taillights, a 94/95 prelude with series 2 gtst indicator/fod light assembly, and the numerous cali sites devoted to hondas with all sorts of line parts - ie taillights etc, and how this is being copied everywhere. immitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and they'll never be a real line
  19. GTR all the way - so yeah its a couple of years older, but u no u want it - and an upside to an older car is less depreciation... so u could kinda call it a sensible financial decision...
  20. Posting for a friend Not needed anymore due to engine upgrade 1993 Model Nissan RB20DET, done 65 000 k's. Microtech LT8, tuned for above engine with FMIC, exhaust, and HI Flo Turbo - all the work on the comp has already been done... Open to offers... Call Josh on 0410 69 00 26
  21. or PORN... but 4 is waaaay better!
  22. well, and not sure if i recommend it, but i just put my hands under it and hit it really hard. made a horrible crunch noise, then popped off... either that or supposedly u can just slide it (forwards or backwards, cant remember which) and it will come off.
  23. al too true - skylines have sexy long legs and love to stretch them... so long as u dont sit on d spot wearing out your tyres...
  24. sorry to get off topic, but what are the problems with running boost past 12psi with a series 2?
