I will in the future place some bigger injectors and z32 afm (or maybe pfc-jetro) Thank You In advance!!!

Hey guys need to upgrade my hairdryer....oh sorry my stock turbo on my rb25.....lol Thinking of putting a gt3040r with a 0.63 rear housing so it can be more responsive. Searched it already but no luck. Its a 600hp dual ball bearing turbo. Want to know how responsive its is and when full boost comes on? Who ever has this info it would be most appreciated. Basically I want to increase my present 211.8rwkw to about to 260-270rwkw. HOWEVER, response and streetability is my first and foremost goal! Dont want a snail that has great peak power but poor low-mid range. Any help would be great? I do not wish to hi flow coz its around the same for a new turbo these days.

Yellow R33 At Calder Last Friday! (please Read)
Nabil replied to Nabil's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Yeah ran again the following friday. 14.2sec @ 100.9mph @ 8psi 13.8sec @ 104.9mph @ 10psi 13.9sec @ 105.5mph @ 12psi 13.7sec @ 104.8mph @ 11psi (this last run i plumbed my blow offf valve back whilst waiting in line) My 60ft times were shocking they ranged from 2.3-2.6secs. My tyres let me down they were only 25/225's and hard compound. So in regards to my mph im guessing a low 13 with good traction. I did hit R/R mode about three times but once I put my headlight back in place it ran fine. One thing im worried about is that whilst burning up the tyres before my run i noticed that my rev limiter does not exist. My leg was still flat on the throttle and somehow i pushed the clutch in at the same time (dont ask why i was nervous!!!) so thereby placing it in neutral; my revs went all the way to 9000rpm. Any idea to wether or not my engine has been rebuilt in japan? Or am i dreaming? Im guessing when the SAFC was installed by the previous owner in Japan they removed the limiter. But it must be for a reason! Now, should I opt for a PFC first or a Turbo upgrade (thinking of something with response say GT2871R with 0.86 exhaust A/R) ????? Thanks you to all in advance. Bill -

My mate has 235rwkw 12.4sec 1/4mile and runs the same plugs with 0.6mm gapping and has never had a problem. btw the plugs in my car are brand new. Just to remind you... there were no signs of problems in ignition or fuel supply on the dyno. Any ideas on my suspension set-up? Thanks in advance. -

Got stiff Tein coilovers at the front and standard suspension at the back. How would this set up affect my drivability in terms of handling and traction? -

Sorry actually I hade just over half a tank Cheer. -
Hey guys I ran my car last Friday at Calder backed of at say 5000rpm in first gear coz it bogged and held back. Initially, I assumed I had a vaccum leak from were i plumbed my blow off valve from. Cant be fuel supply coz I had a full tank. However, after removing the tube and returning the blow off valve set up back to atmospheric It bogged a little again. It only happens when Im hard on the throttle every now and then. Some times its cool and sometimes it decides to bogg. It made 211.8 rwKW on 14psi at C&D with a dump back exhaust (no cat), SAFC, APEX fmic, fuel pump. Car showed no signs of problems on the dyno. It made 193 rwKW on 8psi. Will post dyno graph shortly. Need to know before Friday coz im running it again at Calder. Any info will be most appreciated. PS plugs are gapped at 0.6mm, motul turbolight and use BP ultimate. Any ideas what i should expect from 1/4 mile time and mph. (Using standard suspension and street tyres.)

JPC are the best! $1200 made 235rwkw with dumpback zorst, gfb bleed valve, remapped ecu, arc cooler and cai. ran a 12.4 on street tyres. My mate with the similar mods only with a pfc, ebc, injectors and full zorst made a whoping 275rwkw. yet to run it.

Check all spark plug gapping is spot on and see if all coil packs are sending a current to the sparks.

Another thing i forgot to mention is that on the top of the core of the fmic it says HYBRID and near, what I believe is a serial number, says Apex or Apexi and some asian writing. The car is fresh from Japan, I thought Hybrid was a Australian brand. Although it is front mounted, its end-tanks point in the same direction and use factory piping from the standard cooler, a bit like the ARC coolers. What brand is it? Also, while the car is stationary, when I push the clutch down it rattles and is quite stiff. It engages and disengages really early and quickly. So is it a twin plate? Lastly, when I turn a corner I hear the back wheels carrying on like a mini spool (chit.. chit.. chit..) and when in straight line motion there is no sound. Also, when i stall the car (im still not used to driving it) the back wheels do a half turn and the car comes to a sudden halt. What type of diff do I have? Is it a 1.5 or 2.0 LSD, because it sure ain't stock. Does anyone know a good tuner in Melbourne? Roughly how much an hour? Cheers, Thanks in advance.

Do any of the Melbourne skyline owners know a good tuner and roughly how much they charge? Cheers, thanks in advance.
