  1. Hi just bought a Skyline s2 r33 97 it has a SAFcII, HKS EVC at 0.8bar, HKs cat-back, fmic. The car runs fine. However, after servicing it I would like to re-tune the safc_II so how long will a tuner take in hours on the dyno? cheers, thanks in advance.

  3. Another thing i forgot to mention is that on the top of the core of the fmic it says HYBRID and near, what I believe is a serial number, says Apex or Apexi and some asian writing. The car is fresh from Japan, I thought Hybrid was a Australian brand. Although it is front mounted, its end-tanks point in the same direction and use factory piping from the standard cooler, a bit like the ARC coolers. What brand is it? Also, while the car is stationary, when I push the clutch down it rattles and is quite stiff. It engages and disengages really early and quickly. So is it a twin plate? Lastly, when I turn a corner I hear the back wheels carrying on like a mini spool (chit.. chit.. chit..) and when in straight line motion there is no sound. Also, when i stall the car (im still not used to driving it) the back wheels do a half turn and the car comes to a sudden halt. What type of diff do I have? Is it a 1.5 or 2.0 LSD, because it sure ain't stock. Cheers, Thanks in advance.

Hi I recently bought a s2 97 R33 It has: SAFCII HKS EVC cat-back HKS drager Fmic (Apex) HKS mushroom air filter Pivot Short-throw shifter Mech LSD 1.5way twin-plate OS-Giken Clutch Stif coil-overs Can anyone tell me how much power at the wheels I can expect and what 1/4 mile time is possible?   7. Get your stock turbo Hi-flowed or buy a GCG. With all the supporting mods you should easily have 220-250rwKw. Good luck.
  8. After three failed attempts to start the engine the battery shit itself. After charging the battery and sealing the air leaks I had it started and ran much smoother. Also, did your car run a little rough b4 this problem. Did it pull back at times as if it didn't want to go?
  9. i experienced the same as you; with the engine revs dropping and then the car cuting out. Make sure there is no air leaking around the AFM's and the pipes leading to them from the turbos. Its is crucial that you seal any leakage of air. All the best.

  14. Hi Everyone, I am in the process of buying a R33 S1 or S2 and I am told different power figures that a stock R33 would have. I know that they have 187Kw at the fly and supposedly they lose 18% through the drivetrain which means they should be making 153rwKW. Then again, some say they have about 120-130rwKW. If anyone could shed some light on this matter it would be most appreciated as I do not want to buy a lemon....lol Thanks Heaps.
  15. I had a Mechanical Oil gauge mounted in the dash on the passenger side of my S13. My mate twisted it a little. After a long drive he said that he needed a tissue. When he opened the compartment underneth the gauge (here the plumbing & wiring may be found) the whole f@#kin compartment was soaked in oil. The tube connecting the oil supply to the gauge fractured. It was a real bad experience. So if you ask me I would rather use a electrical gaue because I think they don't have oil lines running to them. Also, I have a mech. boost gauge which I think is not 100% accurate; because on cold mornings when I release the throttle on about 5 vaccum (not sure of the unit for vaccum) I here the flutter. Prior to releasing I here the turbo on boost. They are both autometer gauges.
  16. Hi, I intend on buying a PFC for my 33. One thing I would love to know. What is your mileage per tank after you tuned the PFC? Also with what mods and at what boost pressure do you run.
  17. When you ran a 10.8, how much power did you have at all 4 wheels and at what boost?
