bit off topic, but one of my friends who drives an auto VS commdore SS, put p plates on his car. (( even though he is on his opens)) when i questioned him about it, he said so poeple can see that he is young, and able to afford a really nice sports car... a bit my tongue so i wouldnt offend but i luagh everytrime i think about it

hmm not that dan, as after i tried liek 7 or more times to open it, i stopped shutting the door lol although when my frined was over the toehr day, i tried showing him the problem and it worked 5 times in a row so it might also be the angle i park ont eh drive way?

well the engine has always been silent untill the last few months (( about a month before service and now after. i might track down someone that is trust worthy (( mechanic and trustworthy shouldbt be used together hahah)) and see what happens thanks for the responses

spotted around 12ish today on anzac avenue on the over pass over the hhighway, a silver r34, plates weere pht34 . had a largish size person driving, i think it was a chick with a really short hair cut anyone on here?

no idea what the mechanic put in it he told me it wasw one they use for all the skylines soi was yeah slap it in um tapping i can hear when standing outside the car, and sometimes in the car, when music is off. a freind told me its the sound of my injectors tapping or something .. its quite faint and sounds like its tapping along the whole engine and not just one spot. its a light tap , and not so sure it i can hear it whilst driving, i think i will go to a mechanic very soon and get him to check it all out. anyone know where in brisbane to go?? last recommended mechanic though, had my car for 3 weeks for no reason... told me my ecu had shit itself, yet its totally fine

hmmm can i get em off nissan? or have to find a wrecked r34 somehwere?

id say its more of a tapping, coming form the top of the engine i think, i had a similar problem in my old honda, and just used thicker oil and it went away.. could it be the mechanic (( i go there for every service) has been putting in the wrong oil, and its just getting thinner when hot?

thats crazy, so if we go and buy it in another country, and try to get them to post it to us, customs will stop it??? seems weird for personal use

Hey, just recently i have noticed that my car whilst warmed up and sitting at red lights the oil pressure gauge drops down low, to 1. sometimes it goes between the 0 and the 1 but when driving it sits between1 and 3 i notcied when i start the car cold the pressure gauge is around the 6, but as it warms up it just gets lower and lower till it gets down to 2 i was doing 80kmh on a road for a while, and the pressure was sitting and like 1.5 i had my oil changed by a mechanic recommended from the forums, so its not old oil (( i got the service and oil change thinking it was the bad oil causing low problems. the car feels laggy, and their is tapping noises coming from the engine that i never use to hear before can anyone recommend things to check or can tell me whats wrong??? i checked the oil after driving and oil level is fine Cheers

Hey, for some reason my boot cant seem to "pop" open from the latch anymore, if someone is at the back lifting the boot, and someone pulls the leaver, it opens, but i use to be able to pull the latch and walk around the back and lift it up, for some reason i dunno why it just doenst seem to pop high enough, and just keeps re locking itself, could my gas struts be to old to support the weight? is there any way to adjust these cheers

SPOTTED a silver r34 coupe parked near subway opposite good guys at that carsledine shopping place where bunnings is etc, around 12 OMG I LAUGHED SO SO HARD AT THAT REAR SPOILER. i didnt think anyone would get mounts to get the stock spoiler to be almost roof line height. anyone on here???

Hey, my brother has had some work done on his r33 recently, and whilst he was cleaning his car he found this part (( pictured below) we dunno how it got there, but it has appeared recerntly, any idea what it is? and should it actually be some where rather than the back seat.. cheers

wow im interested in getitng a low jack aswell, im sick of having to take my front bumper and all splash guards off, just to jack up the car, it makes it take twice as long.. was so keen in that black one psi showed that isnt for sale

yeah dave, was there from start to finsih, didnt see you there either, however i watched taht 06 ish blue STI on the skid pan exhuast fall off and get damaged, my brother was going to go out, we took the helmets and everything, next time for sure he will be out there though, Does anyone know when the next one is?? and i loved taht mercury r32 sedan, that was awesome to watch
