  1. not a bad price could be a good option Martin, and when/if you get some cash further down the track to upgrade, could make your money back to re-sell it...
  2. I will put up an add shortly. Just in the process of buying another set, and can't afford to have 3 sets lying around. well techincally, can afford, but just not allowed by the hugs and kisses. it's a general rule of mine not to argue with pregnant women....
  3. Having braved the elements, and a family of lithuanian huntsmen (giant farkers. gotta go back into the shed with a few cans of rid when i work up the courage) I still have the turbo. Let me know if you want it.
  4. Ok, having opened the curtains, it appears it hasn't been raining for quite some time. Will go and check if that turbo is floating around. On a side note, thinking of selling my meisters. Anybody interested?
  5. I did 12 months good behaviour in my r32. daily driven to work and back etc, with no speedo. and some mexican wheels
  6. Yeh, you can have it for free. Pretty sure it's sitting in my shed. Will check when it stops raining.
  7. I didn't think they rebuilt turbos themselves. Pretty sure they source it out. GCG has a great reputation and pretty sure they do their highflows for less. Hypergear appear to be gaining popularity with their cheap highflows, but I am not sure what their reliability is like.
  8. ^^^^ this What are you using at the moment Jeremy? You just had a highflow installed, didn't you?
  9. as far as I have read, it's a straight fit, but I am sure someone with actual experience in doing it might be able to confirm for sure, just in case some of the lines don't line up and need modifying.
  10. by the look of things, don't think much tuning will be getting done in rocky at the moment. hows the gtr? didn't get affected by the floods hopefully.
  11. theoretically, you could, but not recommended. completely different sized turbo, pushing completely different masses of air. the engine would run, but god knows what would be going on with your fuel air ratios. if you are planning on keeping the stock computer and injectors for a while, but need to change your turbo, high flow or maybe a r34 turbo would be your best options, as they are close to stock and would do the job until you upgraded. you could probably get away with only doing the ecu if you went down that option.
  12. so to cut it short, it's probably one of the better turbos going around for the 25, if that's the power you are chasing highflows are also a good option, if you aren't after 300rwkw, due to response and bolting straight on the gtrs is also meant to be a good turbo, with a slightly lower power rating than the 3076, but better response, but kits are quite pricey and you don't see too many second hand examples floating around.
  13. 3076's are meant to be very good turbo's for rb25's. very responsive and deliver great power. I would prefer one of those for my car, rather than my current turbo, due to very similar power with better response. with that turbo, you would obviously need to also upgrade your computer and fuel system.

I saw this at Indro the other day. Doesn't look too bad, but a bit over the top for my taste.
  17. Due to the P plate laws, I think their asking price may have even increased in recent times.
  18. yes, yes, yes and yes! and I heard he is willing to swap it for a fishtank or a big screen TV
  19. fark, way too many drinks last night. still feeling hung over. attempting to move as little as possible.
  20. sau up again. i thought there was something wrong with my server.
  21. ** on second thought, I will just edit this out
  22. Everyone done their christmas shopping yet? I farken hate driving to the shops to do it. Managed to get into an argument on Saturday about a carpark. Police randomly appeared from nowhere asking me to leave, letting the other guy get the park. Silly bastard didn't comprehend that now I knew exactly where he was parked. Left him a nice surprise
