  1. I'm not sure on the accuracy of this. But ive heard finding one of those HKS torque splitters is like finding rocking horse shit, not to mention they are very pricy if u can. Cheers
  2. Taking the AWD fuse out of an R32 is fine. It's fun. and you should do it. You dont need to purchase a no-brainer "kit" either. Simply tap into the wiring in the fuse box located to the left of the engine bay and then run a simple switch into the engine bay that will cut the circuit (hence like removing the fuse) and then with a flick engage the current again. The parts can be purchased from your local Dick Smith or Jaycar. Take it easy.
  3. What a stupid thing to say buddy. How is a GTS4 NOT a mini godzilla. It clealry is just with a smaller engine and one less turbo. It has ATTESSA it's just got less power. Keeping that in mind my GTS4 is running about 300hp at the moment and will destroy a tool in a V8 and quite a few Skylines etc. and I have great handling, and shit is it fun in the wet. For those who dont want to outlay the extra $$ for a GTR a GTS4 is a great option. And it is a Mini Godzilla. No-ones claiming it is a Godzilla. PLUS if you purchase the GTS4 then put in say and RB30DET it's cheaper than a GTR, It's got better diff gears and it'l go quicker than a GTR. You're the nob stooge. Take it easy all.
  4. Hey guys wondering if anyone knows where i could get a small section of pipe that can pretty much adapt 2 3/4'' pipe into a 3" or 3.5" inlet on a jap cannon. I'm aware it could be made, but if anyone knows of a place near Perth who sells them cheap enough il just head there n grab one. Reason why i'm going to the trouble is i got the cannon from a mate for next to nothing. If you could help me out would be tops. Take it easy.
  5. I was talking to my mate today and he's selling his R32 4 door GTS-t. To give u an idea. He's willing to flog it for $10,500 firm. The reason he is selling it so cheap is he cant b bothered waiting around (even though it's CLEARLY worth more) as he has just purchased an R32 GTR and needs the cash asap. If anyone interested give me a PM and i shall hook u up. In Perth WA. Hasn't been advertised anywhere yet to my knowledge, so if ure keen u have first bite of the cherry. But it has: Silver duco 5 spd Man ~100,000 kms Heavy Duty single plate clutch GTR suspension (modified profesionally to fit up) WRX bucket seats from the 2000's on custom rails ($800+) Big front mount intercooler Boost guage Modified computer from Jap Turbotechnics boost controller Aftermarket steering wheel Has replaced ALL the hoses, clamps in engine bay, new alternator. GTR radiator GTR brake master cylinder Aftermarket front rotors Jap Full Exhaust system (Sounds SEX)- Kakimoto dragger. Interior is near spotless CD player aftermarket splits and tweaters installed too. New rubber A+ grip rated Professionally lipped rear guards to get the 245's in a little easier Removed rear spoiler. 17'' Light weight deep dish rims that also look SEX- ppl always trying to buy his rims including me! And i'm sure there are other things that have slipped my mind!! only thing u could say is slightly wrong is it has 2-3 V.small pin dents and the Synchro on 4th isn't the greatest (common problem) He's been my best mate for something like 18yrs and i can vouch it's a good car and very well looked after. It goes a lot harder than it should really. We think it's computer had been modified in jap as it puts out hard as i said and it runs a leaner A/F ratio etc. (not dangerous though). Has held with 2.5L big turbo Soarers on the freeway! NS. Thats a bit of a bloody steal so don't go expecting to find this, but its an example of if u look u can find. Let us know. Admins if need be feel free to move this link to the for sale section. Take it easy boys n girls. :laughing-smiley-014:
  6. I have an M-spec R32 GTS4. If the one you are thinking about have an electric drop down front bar get that out, it looks average and is just a gimic really, that'l save u around 10kg's perhaps a little less but the motors are crazy big for such a shitty little lip. With the hicas some ppl hate it some love it, i dont mind it but i might piss it off soon, instead of getting locker bars u can weld the ram on either side and hey-presto locked up baby (off tangent but hey). Once u start to modify the GTS4's they are good value, id say stock they are alright if it's your first turbo car but u'l b searching for more performance later on. Even by getting a full zorst, front mount, hard wiring the fuel pump, boost guage/controller it makes for a much more enjoyable car for not that much more dosh. Get 1bar into her and I used to easily hold and beat about equally modded R33's on the freeways/hwy's/corners (who knows what boost etc. they were running at the time tho) With weight reduction dont get too anal or it's gains outweigh the effort. take it easy
  7. clearly depending what its got, the 4 doors sell for less than the 2 doors as would b expected. for a stock/ish one i wouldn't pay more than 9-10k max and i'd at least try and get one for 8 but thats perhaps starting to get a little low. As for accident history common sense is the best policy, if panels arn't lining up etc. it's prob been stacked. Goodluck
  8. Yeah as skybarge said the lowering front spoiler is on the M-spec R32's. I have one on my GTS4, or should i say did. It had to be removed to put my front mount in, but the electric motors are surprisingly chunky and heavy not to mention it looks rather shithouse when down. Removing it would save u around 10kg's with the motors and spoiler from the front of the car. If u can b bothered take it out it's uselss really and just comes along for a ride. Take it easy all
  9. Bump. Still no glory guys, really no looking forward to ripping my dash apart after i just fixed my steering column and boss kit dramas. Any new info let us know, take it easy guys. Cheers
  10. Hey guys my R32 has developed a little annoying problem, i am aware that the speedo is connected via a metal wire from behind the surround and there seems to be a clicking at least every second when i'm going down the freeway, usually doing over 110km/h it will just keep ticking. Has anyone else had this problem or knows how to fix it without ripping my whole dash apart? Also had a search couldn't find any perviously related topics. Any help would be appreciated Cheers, Rhys
  11. cheers for ure help guys, i'l check the readout from the ATESSA computer and see whats going on.
  12. Gota love the sound of a turbo spooling, after i had my dump and front pipe put into my cat back system that was on the car from Jap it goes harder up in the revs and sounds sweet. Cheers
  13. Hey guys, well i have a 1990 R32 GTS4 and at the moment the AWD light is on in the dash, and it might go away for a bit, but it comes back. Also my ABS light is constantly on, the one that looks like (!), and no the handbrake isnt up. I have also switched around the 30AMP fuses under the bonnet and it's not them. I'm thinking it could be something to do with a faulty sensor on one of the front wheels? Any suggestions or comments as to what could be wrong? Cheers, Rhys
  14. Not mine, but getting a nice angle going in the R32 GTS-t 4 door. yeeew
  15. Hey guys, on the first start of my car whether it be in the morning or arvo for the day there is a kind of trickling water noise and the engine kinda lumpily starts but then its idling fine. Further starts after it has been driven are fine, so i'm wondering what this water like noise could be and whether it's anthing dangerous to the engine. It would only last for about a second or two. Any experience in the matter would be very much appreciated. Cheers, Rhys
  16. Dont want to cause a fuss for the sake of it, but the whiteline .Pdf DOES say 83157 for the fronts and 70191 for the rears for an R32 GTR. So i don't know what .Pdf file you were viewing...check -> http://www.whiteline.com.au/ ->Then go to "your car" at top left -> Then "NISSAN" at the top in blue -> then "R32 GTR AWD" down the list. Cheers
  17. Hey guys both my side metal window skirts have flaked off the black paint and i was wanting to remove them and touch them up. If anyone knows the easiest way to get them off would be tops. Cheers, Rhys
  18. Well the WA refinery supplies Aus so it's going to affect everyone Aus wide, which sucks. I heard about this on the radio the other day and promptly filled up my tank, but it is a bit of a joke that this could even happen in the first place... Cheers
  19. Checked in the engine bay the two top clips on my airbox were undone. duno how that happened????? Anyways clipped them up and closed the gap obviously, hope thats all it was. Although when the car is first started in the morning it makes a kind of water trickling sound somewhere (the aircon has to be regassd still - dont know if it's that) behind the dash. Bit random, doesn't affect the car at all once driving just bit odd on the startup in the morning.. Cheers
  20. Hey guys, just in the morning when i go to start my car it starts up and is sloppy in the idle for instance just kind of stuttering and not holding a proper idle. But then it picks up revs and drops down fine, the problem is gone after driving it, parking it then coming back later and starting it. It's not because its cold in the morning either, had to change my crank angle sensor, perhaps has retarded the timing too much i'm not sure. If anyone has had the same little problem or knows what it probably is let me know. Cheers
  21. Yes on the whiteling site the fronts are listed as 83157, but i just had a look at modyourcar to see what part numbers they suggest and it was 73157, and the 70191 as sydneykid stated. So which one is correct? I'd obviously be inclined to trust Whiteline, but just seems wierd?? Does anyone know for sure, i'm pretty certain it's the 83157. Cheers
