If you still have the Automatic instrument cluster it will only read about 50% of the actual K's you travel.

Hey, i had a B&M Pro Ratchet fitted to my R33.. The lights on the dash are activated by the transmission so they still work once you put in an after market shifter. And i just cut the stock gear surround to suit the shifter, Cheers

Hey guys, I'm putting all my Automatic tranny gear up for sale as I'm going to be converting to manual over the Christmas break. Everything is still fitted to my car at the moment, and potential buyers in Melbourne are more than welcome to come for a drive to feel how it shifts etc. I'm not going to separate anything, only selling as a package. 1. M.V Automatics manual shift computer AKA black box Once everything is installed you basically have a Manualised-Automatic, meaning the car will only change up/down gears when you ratchet shift. The shift kit has been on my car for about 15,000K's, and the other parts for about 5,000K's. The tranny hasn't started to show any kinds of premature wear, nor have the shifts changed since i first installed it. My car makes ~220rwkw and everything seems to be taking the power fine, no slipping at all. I had the EXACT same problem with my R33 using an emanage ultimate. Had me and my tuner stumped, Would spike the injectors to 99% duty cycle for a split second whilst at light throttle. Have heard that this was a fault with some EMU's, not too sure how true it is though. I ended up selling the EMU and getting a pfc instead, Cheers shane.

Yeah tried that mate, its the same lock as you get when you leave the Auto in any gear apart from Park or Neutral.

Hey guys, I've just fitted a B&M shifter onto my Automatic R33. Ive connected the neutral safety switch as it says to do so in the instructions, But i cant remove my keys from the ignition. There permanently stuck onto ACC, Id anyones knows of a wire i can cut that disengages this it would be great, Cheers Shane.

Yeah it has an (E) down the bottom. Over the past month my car has been in and out of the workshop, i spent all up about $1000 for 2 tunes. The first was at 14psi due to him not being able to overcome the boost cut, thought it was a faulty afm so i got it swapped for a new one. Back in the shop for a second tune with higher boost, still doing the cut. He finally works a way around the cut and tunes it to 18-19psi, ok all good. I take it out for a drive, and the car stutters like crazy on light throttle, and is still hitting the cut when loading in 3rd or 4th up a hill. So i go back again, they take the car for a drive, come back and say, hmmm we cant fix your car. they show me the data log of the injectors spiking to 99% at low throttle, and didn't mention the cut. This Saturday i went for a drive with a mate, and it hit the cut a number of times and was stuttering and backfiring. i then thought to myself... f**k it, Im pulling it out and getting a pfc. well thats the story, the E-manage is yours for $550 if you want it. Thanks for the input guys, But i've decided to sell it and have allready brought a PowerFC to take its place. I'm sure the unit is capable but i want to use an ECU that my tuner is more familiar with and just generally more information on. Anyone want to buy an E-manage Ultimate and harness for $550? yeah, we got it all working good on the dyno running 18psi. But on the road when loading the motor in 3rd or 4th up a hill it still cuts out. Gonna have to leave it like this for a while as got no more money to spend on it. Another problem I'm having is at low revs and low Throttle % the injectors spike up to 99% duty for about a millisecond, can do it maybe 3 - 7 time in a row, This is causing the car to stutter and pop when cruising along and back fire when rolling to a stop. In hindsight i really should have just gone for a stand alone, but hey, what can ya do.
