Must be the rest of my exhaust system i dunno. Sounded cool though the sounds echo off all the buildings. Anyway today i took out my piece of wire holding the valve open in "sport" mode so it's closed in "silent" mode now. It's still pretty loud though but bearable now. I think i'll just leave it like that oh well. While i was closing back the valve on the exhaust i discovered i think the r33 has its own electronic actuator for contrlling the muffler. I'm thinking of wiring that up to my new muffler and running a switch to cabin to switch from beast/normal mode would be cool.

haha hm i spose you can't tell on the sound clip stupid of me. but yer it's so loud i'm scared to drive haha! you'd struggle to have a conversation in the car.

changed my muffler yesterday to the nismo r34 gtt one and i kept the stock 2.25" piping. geezus chris this thing is loud i dunno why everyone is saying it's silent. here's a soundclip http://www.asean.net.au/pri/rev3.mp3 is it really loud because it's designed for turbo cars?? has anyone heard a louder n/a exhuast before?? lol i'm now scared to drive my car! i gotta look into quietening it now.

haha i posted a detailed tutorial in the diy section it's waiting approval dunno when that is. oh well guess u'll have to wait. i wouldn't do blue leds on the instrument cluster coz if u think about it the needles are red.... what happens when u put blue light through a red filter? u get no light!!(or close to it) i might put white leds later but don't wanna touch my dash again for a while

Disclaimer: I'm not liable for any damage resulting from this tutorial!! Use at your own risk! While driving at night i noticed it was hard to find buttons. My dash looked like this: So i went on a search for info on replacing the bulbs with blue leds coz i thought it'd look cool. Unfortunately no one had done a whole tutorial before. Anyway jaycar has a article on using LEDs it's pretty simple really Just need to wire them up like this So i went and bought 5mm blue LED 1000MCD (ZD-184 i think) and 330ohm resistors to go inline. You can put any led u want just need to recalculate the resistor value Now to get to the climate control unit you need to open up the dash. NS2500's tute should have enough info to get the climate control unit out Once you get it out and turn it around there's 2 globes on each side like this Put a flathead screw driver in and 1/4 turn it should come out. They have wire wrapped around the the plastic casing. You'll need to reuse the plastic casing so ye don't damage it. Unwrap the wires from the old globe and remember how it was wrapped. To put my LED in i had to sand the lip on the bottom to get it to fit. Was 1mm too big. There's not enough space to put the resistor infront of the casign so i decided to put it behind the casing. So it looked like this You need to be very careful the wires don't short out so trim them nicely. Make sure the resistor doesn't get shorted neither. Keep in mind it has to be reliable because i found out the hard way that the illumination runs on the same fuse as the parkers,indicators and tail lights(not brake). Stupid design. Anyway stick the LED back in like this: Make sure u test it before u put it all back together. LEDs are directional meaning you can only put them in 1 way. positive and negative don't matter for bulbs but do for LEDs. So ye trial and error is the way to go because there are no labels to tell negative from positive. Repeat for the otherside and put everything back and you get this If you wanna know how to do the hazard and demister buttons theres already a tutorial here http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/upload/showthre...ighlight=hazard i blew up the fuse 3 times trying to do my demister so i gave up. The fuse is in the boot just incase your clumsy like me. 10A 3rd from the front labelled "ALT"

Being an old car most of the globes in the dash were blown so i decided to replace them with LEDs. was supposed to replace the the demister with led too but i blew 3 fuses and gave up. i got a pretty good deal off them 10.5k including rego and stamp duty for my 33 gts25 so the car itself was only like 9.5k went with my dad and he let us try out a lot of cars that's the best thing about this guy just gives u the keys and u can go for a drive no fuss unlike some other dealers i went to.

haha was thinking about bringing tripod but couldn't be bothered. umm i was using canon ef-s 10-22 and nah i only had uv filter which is always on and doens't do anything i boosted contrast and sat a bit though

ehh filter?? didn't use any filters most of the stands there were too dark to get good shutter speeds oh well autosalon wasn't really that great this yr it seemed smaller maybe coz of levis and girls day out events nextdoor.
