I don't think you can check the ecu trigger signal using a multimeter gotta use oscilloscope. I've done this on my car coz it was misfiring. The signal should have a sawtooth sorta pattern (i think it's current control). If you don't get a signal it's proabbly either the wiring for the trigger signal is stuffed or the ecu itself is stuffed. You can check the wiring by just checking teh resistance from teh corresponding ecu pin to the coilpack connector for your dead cylinder. How do you know the cylinders not firing anyway do you get blacksmoke out the exhaust?

geezus 1 week. not much time to model a car lol! unless u intend to do a rough job. in ur time frame i would be looking at coarse mesh + meshsmooth modeling easiest to do. plenty of tutorials out there that'll take u step by step through it. took me about 2 weeks to do this one in my holidays back in 2004. this was using rhino3d(nurbs) and imported to 3dsmax to render.

Thanks guys will keep all that in mind when i go back to the workshop. I bought it and got it installed at a workshop. Booked it in for Thursday. Will see what he has in mind for the car and let you guys know how it goes.

Took my car for a run through the twisties, entered the first corner and my car made some concerning noises/vibrations. Had to take it easy all the way home coz i was worried about safety/expensive tow 1.5hrs out of melbourne. So today jacked up the car and had a look and found my trust pe2 is rubbing the driveshaft. there's only like a 1cm gap between. Anyone got any suggestions to fix this? i'm thicking of just using a hammer to bend the exhaust. but the exhaust is like mint =\

it's alright u can record the skyline rumble and play it through your speakers when your driving ur electric car! eventually electric will overtake IC engines in performance and we'll mod them instead. instead of bigger exhausts and intakes and turbos we'll get uprated battery packs and high current motor controllers. shouldn't be too hard to learn. it's all good!

Has anyone found the cause of this problem? i get it too and it's really shitting me. It clicks once everytime the driveline is loaded in a different direction (taking off, reversing, overrun from releasing throttle sharply). I also get constant clicking when i'm above 60kmh. it gets louder when i load up the drivers side (corner left). also have tried spinning up the tires to 70kmh while the rear is on stands but doesn't happen when the car is jacked up.

i gave him a run up to 80 (coz i'm law abiding but curious ) beat him by 2 car lengths. he says he wasn't WOT though coz he reckons it'll wheelspin rofl. he used to drive a daihatsu or somethign so ye i think he needs a bit of getting used to. he's loving the car though. my cars completely stock except for kakimoto catback (exact same as ur old car) and apexi pod ( which is minus 5rwkw actually )

if ur coming from se suburbs like me just hop on the monahs and take exit immediately after the bolte then drive towards the bridge easy. kirisaki, that stick things pretty weird i thought it was a manual when i first saw it. does it come in a kit or did u do some fabrication?

ye maybe next time i'll take the same shot under the bridge with 10 skylines instead r32bigboy, my kit consists of canon 20D, canon 10-22, and 50/1.8 pretty limited been meaning to upgrade for ages. oh yeah and my carpc can d/l my photos to it and has gps. it's a work in progress though my for the screen is dodgy
