I've sourced parts from justjap so these are no longer needed.. and i dont want to pay $700 for non turbo brake setup. Dayne

I did the same as JD R33, worked a treat, my old one was broken, and my new one might have picked up 40kms more to a tank, not that great but over all has probably paid itself off.. even if they are 'dead' your car wont run that bad, all it does when its broken is tell the ecu to run rich all the time... and most skylines run rich naturally anyway. I just recently got a new clutch installed, however i was going to purchase a PBR clutch kit and the place who installed mine adviced not to. They said nothing 'bad' about PBR but they gave me a very confused look when i requested a PBR kit (my uncle told me they were good, though he works with holdens and fords).. so i asked what was wrong with PBR clutchs and they said they prefer excede because they deal 'more' with high performance cars. So my suggestion is the clutch is probably not suited and doesn't have a large enough pressure plate to cope with the power of your stockish r33 gtst. Go to another place and ask them what they think it is, and as someone else said, ask them for an explaination as to whats wrong with it, as they should have test drove it, if they cannot give it.. ask for a refund on all labour. the damage is repairable, just a small buckle.... the width i wil get for you tomorrow would assume they are fairly wide though, the tyres are pretty big on them! Dayne

Grab a multimeter and place it on the positive and negative wires going into the control unit, that will establish wether or not it has power.. if it does i'd say you stuffed the unit. Dayne

cheers mate, i already knew that, though some of them do (it was an option standard) meaning it would 6 bolts insted of 5. The actual name of the diff i am chasing is called R200 6 bolt. Will give just jap a ring tomorrow, or a few other importers around oz. Dayne

Spotted Rh9 in manuka today, he hammered it leaving, damnn that car is quick! broke traction a bit in first and second:| you could hear the tyres screaching! Dayne

oh and is the diff lsd.. can anyone hook me up with a r200 lsd diff with the shafts 3x2 pattern Dayne

Thanks for the replys everyone... that last price sounds very tempting! It would be easier though if i could get a r200 diff with flanges of 3x2 bolt pattern, does anyone have this? Where are you located crazy importers, do you get any waranty on it, and how much is postage to canberra... Dayne

Just found out that i have an R200 diff in my car, found a r33/s14 r200 diff in japan, lsd, thats perfect! $500 to my door, might have a chat to just jap first though. Even has the same flange 3x2! Dayne

I dont think they are the same, but that could mean that i could get r32 shaft, and diff... where abouts are you located mate? Dayne

Spotted a black series II gtst near autobarn fyshwick, and a gunmetal r32 gtr (i think) outside harvey normal fyshwick, didnt see dj's car anywhere there though:P Dayne

Quickfit they are now called, based in Queanbeyan Was qouted $115 or something to repair and respray in shadow chrome so hope that helps. Dayne
