  1. As far as I know they work on auto's, just that the gear changes will be rough
  2. I'm pretty sure that the billing address has to actually match the card being used, otherwise it won't work... and as the account is based in the US it doesn't let you change the country when entering the card details
  3. 3 is nothing knock is the engine pinging or detonating etc... the factory warning is set at 60, which is when the check engine light will flash on the dash...anything up to about 30 is ok. If it starts hitting over 30 you might want to get your tuner to look at the tune...
  4. You don't see the cameras because they're hidden overhead...whereas in QLD you have signs leading up to each camera to actually deter people from speeding, not just take $200 out of their pocket a month after they sped past the camera...but apparently cameras save lives... As for tailgating, people would find they wouldn't be tailgated if they didn't sit in the right lane. The law states that a driver must keep left unless overtaking, unless the road is congested. Its no one's business but the police if someone chooses to speed. Stay in the left lane unless overtaking, and they won't tailgate you, as they'll drive straight past in the empty right lane.
  5. Hmm, when you said confirmed it worked, do you know of someone who's actually done it? I set up the account, but there's no way to add funds to the wallet without a Credit card with an American billing address...So I can't buy the map pack through the US account...

  7. If you can get someone to take a photo of it for you, you could probably make your own in a Microsoft Word table or excel spreadsheet etc, print it off, laminate it and you're set

    Dam Epa

    Yep, still got it mate.
  9. I have certain photos of the President.
  10. And for the next person that says they should be spending time on robberies and homicides, do some research into what the Traffic Management Unit's job description entails. I was at the meet, and could have easily have been defected myself. Its unfortunate that someone was defected, and its a shame that it happened when people were just casually parking and socializing, but at the end of the day if the car is illegally modified, and an officer wants to hand out a defect, then there's not a lot you can do but cop it and get it cleared.
  11. Why would your post be deleted? Can you show me the club executive that said it was a good use of police resources? So far I think I'm the only commitee member to have posted and I clearly didn't say that I simply stated that this meet had nothing to do with the club, which people don't seem to realise essentially has no affiliation with the forums other than being based on them. Also implying that becoming a club member somehow makes you immune to police attention is far fetched. To date there hasn't really been any issues with police on official club cruises, but up until last night there really hasn't been a problem with these general meets either.
  12. 'Hoon' is not a word.
  13. I've had stock rims on the rear of my car with my 18's on the front, as I was waiting for the weekend to have my new tires fitted to the rears...the above idea to have cars impounded for stock wheels on the rear is ludicrous. My car is currently has stockies on the rear...and on the front. I guess it should be impounded.
  14. Ok sweet, thanks. I'll set one up when I can be bothered, especially with all the address and name stuff

    Pop Plate Ideas

Not sure if you're aware of this already, but pop plates are simply colored plates with your currently owned combination....You can't get 'custom' pop plates.... So if your current registration is ABC-123 you can get it in any of the colors available, but can't customize the combination on the plate itself.
  16. These meets are in no way affiliated with SAU-Vic. Everyone needs to remember that the forum and the club are 2 completely separate things.

    Spotted Thread

Spotted Matt (R34GTT) on Wellington road last night
  18. 1 more question before I try this, will I be able to play the maps once logged back into my AUS PSN account, or only when logged in with the US account?
  19. Agreed, leave it where it is. Car parts and Acc. section moves fast enough as it is without adding even more threads into it... Personally, If I'm selling something, I'll browse through the WTB section as well as a means to find a potential buyer.
  20. Thanks Beau

pod filter also isn't essential...My car makes ~250rwkw with a stock airbox, so you're definitely not going to max it out with a stock turbo.
  22. Ok sounds easy enough...how do I go about creating a US account?
  23. Sorry, PS3. I was about to purchase them from the PS3 store online the other week when they came out ($15 for the 4 new maps, and double XP points for that weekend) but noticed the note saying it required the certain disc code...Checked my disc and its a different 1 as its US...So chose not to potentially throw $15 away lol. If someone else has tried it and its worked I'll grab em obviously.
  24. Just a tip, I wouldn't be doing any track/motorkhana spirited driving on those rims. Seen plenty of sets fail completely..
  25. Will be locked/deleted real soon I'd imagine... Remember, you can't slander forum sponsors. You may only slander multi million dollar businesses who actually have the resources to sue for defamation
