  1. I was thinking more like 0.9 bar or about 13psi which I believe is the minimum boost I was told by the tuner I could run.
  2. I think you'll have to get a new pump even on lowest boost boost with a gtrs, as i'm sure it will be over 200rwkw.

Had a wolf before I got the power fc, wouldn't recommend it, as it was send really high coil charge time causing car to misfire constantly at high boost and fry most of the coils that why I got spitfires, also idle and cold start where really bad compared to power fc's but if you have really good tuner might be alright.
  4. I've heard stock injectors are alright under 250 rwkw and 1 bar should be under that without cam and coils. You'd also need a Z32 air flow for more boost anyway, also might be worth looking into 2nd gtr injectors as my 555cc injectors max duty are only about 70%.
  5. I did it at the same time as the PFC and turbo and they said they got an extra 5 kw with it.

  7. I think drivability is better with tuned powerfc as more responsive and turbo is not to laggy shown in dyno when its set to 1.2bar as it reaches 15psi at 3400rpm and 17psi at 3800rpm.
  8. Not sure what boost level the actuator comes set at but the minimum boost I can run is 0.9 although it still seems to sit at 15psi anyway, max boost is 1.2 with stock internals. I have a bosch 044 fuel pump and 555cc nismo injectors. Have not taken it to drags yet but got 270rwkw and not to much lag so should be in the 12s depending on tires?

  10. As you add more power to a engine do you lose more power or is it the same? e.g. does 270rwkw car have 270kw + 60kw =330kw at flywheel or 26% lose 100/74*270=364kw at the flywheel?

  12. I just did the gtrs $2912, 6 nismo 555cc injectors $939, power fc and boost kit $1510 + $250 shipping got 270rwkw at 1.2 bar and good response. Also need z32 airflow meter $295 and dyno tune and installation. But you could do it with out the z32 and injectors and keep the boost a bit lower and keep it under 250rwkw and do the rest later.

The only other mods are suspension but in more detail i've got; -Full 3 inch exhaust with high pressure coated dump, magnaflow twin tip. -Front mount intercooler 600x300x70 tube and fin core -Bosch 044 fuel pump -Spitfire ignition coils -Power FC and boost kit -Adjustable exhaust cam gear -Nismo 555cc injectors -HKS GT-RS turbo kit -Xtreme billet lightened flywheel -UAS sports clutch kit -Tein super street coilovers -Whiteline front and rear swaybars -JIC tension rods, front negative upper link, rear adjustable upper link I think its worth spending the extra money on the gtrs rather than a high flow cost about $3000 with shipping and got $300 back for old turbo and you get new turbo external wastegate and oil lines.
  16. Z32 definitely worth getting gives the tuner heap better resolution so both 1.2 and 0.9 bar are heaps better, 0.9 bar almost feels like the power I had at 1.2bar before without the Z32. Other mods are full 3 inch exshaust, FMIC, PFC and boost kit, nismo 555cc injector, exhaust cam, lightened flywheel and ceramic clutch, spitfire coils and bosch 044 fuel pump.
  17. Just my car retuned today with a Z32 air flow meter and got 270rwkw. I think a GTRS would be hard to beat for response and power, it reached 15psi at 3400rpm and 17psi at 3800rpm and is set to 1.2bar. The HKS turbo kit does bolt straight on comes with wastgate and all lines.
  18. I got a GTRS installed a month ago and got 255rwkw at 1.2 bar still had standard air flow meter and am getting Z32 tuned this weekend. My mods are are Full 3 inch exshaust, FMIC, PFC with boost controller, nismo 555cc injectors, exhaust cam, lightened flywheel and ceramic clutch, spitfire coils and bosch 044 fuel pump. I was wondering is 1.2 bar the max optimal boost level for a gtrs or should I get them to put the boost level maybe 1.4-1.5 bar and will the turbo still be in its efficient range? I believe I need a new head gasket to lower the compression ratio and maybe some forged pistons if i do?

I couldn' t be happier great balance of response and power. I my main problem noe is keeping traction in first gear. Also got $300 back for selling old turbo.

  25. I got the whiteline handling pack so it should be the 22mm?
