  1. You guys really know how to make a man feel bad about selling a car... I took it to the track. Turns out you can have a lot of 4WD drifting fun in the rain: Then I took it out in the dry. Turns out weather makes no difference when the vehicle is in the hands of the same driver:
  2. Thanks. I do not want to sell it for reasons obvious to SAU people, but alas, I must
  3. Hello All, Long time no see. Due to personal reasons I am selling my R32 GTR. It has 70,995 genuine km's on it. The original owner (in Japan) was the chief engine builder for Nismo. The next owner was the ex head mechanic of Nissan. Then me, who proceeded to modify the hell out of it. It's been garaged it's entire life, no accidents etc and is immaculate. I do not know what the import rules are for Aussie I am afraid (I am in NZ). And yes, the A/C was completely overhauled and works like a freezer Performace: 580.5kW / 789.3HP / 842Nm @ The Wheels 98 RON Pump Gas 580kW was at 1.8 bar. 556kW @ 1.7 bar. I just had it “detuned” to 540kW @ 1.7 bar after we changed the cam timing to bring everything in 800rpm earlier. I do know I have spent over $200,000 (the FMIC was $4.5k, sway bars $4.5k, hell, the crank alone was $16k, and I have most of the receipts, and build pic’s. I want AUD$60,000 Shipping is the buyers responsibility. As I live at work and have severely limited internet access, people can email me at [email protected] if I am too slow to respond here (apologies in advance). The car has a Thatcham Standard alarm, and various other security measures. I will send detailed instructions and diagrams of where everything is and how it all works. The car has not been hacked in to to fit everything. Anything that was custom made was done so utilising factory holes and threads (e.g. the CNC machined solid one-piece aluminium 25mm spacer with 6 arches in the boot to get the 6 -6AN lines though using the factory fuel pump cover hole). The only holes drilled were in the rear bumper to mount the diffuser (6mm diameter, and underneath where you can not see them). There is also a 6mm floor that sits on top of the aluminium box section in the boot and sits under the sub box (not pictured, but sub box locks over the rear strut bar and sits above the amp you can see in the second to last pic, and is removable in 30 seconds [2 clamps and wiring unplugs with Anderson Clamps]) and carpet for over the floor so you can still use the boot. Pics:
  4. Front ie transfer case to front diff is the same. Gearbox to diff: rear section is the same across all GTR's and Stagea, but the front ie where it connects to gearbox is different on the stagea. 32r and 33r are same, 34r is another length, stagea another (the longest of all) 32r, 33r and stagea all have the same front shaft. 34 is different length.
  5. 260RS made til 1999. The differences between series 1 and 2: Head lights, thus bonnet, grille and guards Interior: speedo panel, centre console, fabric on seats Clear(ish) tail lights 1 reverse light, one fog light at rear All mechanical, drive, susp etc etc all the same.

This hood made specifically for a stagea, and fits around dash and clock perfectly Full MANUAL centre console from a series 1 260RS (incl gear shifter boot, hand bake boot etc) REALISTIC OFFERS (I know what these are worth if you can find one). I will post pics of this soon as I need to pull out of storage. I am up to my eyeballs in work atm so it may take me a day or two to reply. Thanks
  7. Driveshaft is fine. It's just the factory one. They can take a serious beating. I know of a 580kW track car that gives it death, and it has never died (r32 so less weight though). Maybe I will just advertise and see. Even if someone buys it just to strip and place everything in their own car..??

  9. Seeing as I am an Oz citizen, what if "I" brought it over, had it complied then "f me..!!" sold it...??
  10. I am going to sell my Stagea and get a GTR. I was wondering if there was any point advertising in Aussie with all the import laws etc (which I know nothing about). My Stagea is 557kW at the wheels, with a mod list a mile long. Engine, drivetrain, suspension, interior, exterior, audio, EVERYTHING has been done. Is there any pont in say ebay.com.au? Cheers peoples.
  11. My dyno run. The SOny point and click camera filters out the wastegate quite majorly, but you can still hear the T51 spool like a jet plane
  12. Got mine retuned. Pulled 557kW at wheels at 1.55 bar. Then we reduced it to 1.5 and got 536 as the ignition was not 100% at 1.55. Cam shafts are maxxed anyway dammit.
  13. I have put these seats into 2 different 260's. Both had the seat wiring and relay (drivers side, above right foot) but both needed the fuse put in to make the seats work. Can't remember where the fuse was ie engine bay or interior fuse box, but it's pretty easy to work out. It MAY have even been labeled in English.
  14. Being RS4 it SHOULD be eye mount. Either way, you need: If bottom is EYE mount, ECR33 rear shocks with an R32 TOP HAT ie R33 25t shocks with R32 / A31 / C33 top hats If bottom is FORK mount, BCNR33 rear shocks with an R32 TOP HAT ie R33 GTR shocks with R32 / A31 / C33 top hats
  15. How many km has it just done? It may be a service warning...?? Anyone read japanese?
  16. My bonnet is definately aluminium. I PRESUME it is standard.
  17. I did an RB26 then a Masa 34 conversion on an RS4. I found everything was fine to swap all to 26 stuff. Logically I had tt cut the hole on the drivers side under the battery and the mounts for the BOV pipe, but everything else was fine. The FMIC lower brackets go straight into the rail as they should etc. All the radiator supports etc are all the same, even from series 1 to 2. Series 2 is just an S1 with different guards, bonnet, lights and grille.
  18. Cheers. It was a very interesting build. There was no info around when I first started, and designated stagea parts were nigh on impossible to find. MOST stuff is just 33R, but a few things are variants and others use 33R parts but are slightly different eg the intercooler hard piping kits. The best was the suspension. Front is 33R. Easy. The rear takes a 33R shock and spring with an R32 top hat. Fortunately my friend had an old naffed set of adjustable bilsteins from his 32 sitting there, so I got the top hats but had to machine them as the Bilstein spring was a different diameter and thickness to what I needed. 1 entire day to swap rear shocks.... I also have 3 point adjustable rear lower A arms coming, and will soon order a 1 piece drive shaft as you do not get the entrance and exit losses through the additional join. Although, logically, it does not increase the power at the engine, due to less loss, it will register more at the wheels.
  19. All rears are 33 indeed. And FYI, your rear shock (for non 260) is r33-t shock with r32 top hat. 260 takes 33r shock with 32 top hat.
  20. Cheers, and yeah, I could have put a very decent deposit on a house instead. But hey, it's not like you can take your house out for a Sunday cruise
  21. I have been through a lot of setups in my car, and driven many Stagea's with others. I had Tein coil overs, every suspension arm was Ikeya Formula adjustable, and front and rear Nismo sway bars. My friend had A'PEXi N1's, and that was it. It smashed my car to pieces. By the time he then added Nismo sway bars, then all adj arms, you had no idea you were hauling around in a near 2 tonne beast. It is expensive, but if you REALLY want it to handle, in order: A'PEXi N1 coilovers Nismo Sway Bars* Solid Radius arm rods* Adj Rear Arms (all)* Locked Sub Frame* * = what I have. I run some BC's which are actually pretty good. I am just saving for some A'PEXi's as they are like $4k new....
  22. I now have the T51 on it. Getting the dump pipe modified and a few other little things, as well as a new ignition system, and it'll be off for a retune. The drag run was done in full trim (incl all stereo etc), on street tyres. I had no traction in first or second. I got traction when I changed into third, but lost it again at about 6,000RPM in third. Still crossed the line doing over 200 though I didn't drag it last season as I was still playing with the car. If I can get some semi decent tyres (I do not want drag slicks or anything, just some donor semi's would be OK) I'll take for a blat this season and see what it does with the new setup.
  23. Shoud be all on, plumbed up etc this weekend but can't get it tuned for a month dammit.
