  1. THESE ARE SOLD TO ME:D => no they wouldnt fit a R33
  2. Ive got my cef now. How did you find this thread? its 2 years old:P Paul "meanman" - Pearl White, RB20DET
  3. Im missing the gas thingy for my Cefiro? Im pretty sure everything else is inplace and in working condition. Not that I want to hijack the thread but does anyone know if all the gas things are the same for all RB's? If you can track down that mobile mechanic post his number up I might give him a call.
  4. Just spoke with a friend about this and he said I should explore the option of a "Helli Coil" or "Heli Coil" Dont know exact name/spelling. But basicly take it to Repco or a fabricator or something along those lines and ask for one. We all know now that the original bolt and hole on the car is smaller then the new bolts and hole on the new calipers. My friend said these Heli coil things are basicly a plug that you will be able to thread into the new caliper which is hollow and has a thread on the inside. Thus you use your old SMALL bolts which will then be able to screw into the new calipers..... Sounds interesting and obviously get it in high tensile stuff so it wont break. Will check this out tomorrow hopefully. Will let you know when I have got around to it.
  5. I still havnt finished it. Ive measured the size of the R34 bolt and its 14mm but Ive been to bunnings and Repco but they dont sell 14 mm drill bits. The biggest drill bit they stock go up to 13mm. Where can you get 14mm drill bits from? I also measured it in imperial which came to around 3/5" which again I could not find. THIS IS SOO ANNOYING. Might just sell the calipers and get me some R33 calipers. Any help will be much appreciated. => Russman, how are you goin?
  6. Get in contact with Sydneykid he knows what hes doing in regards to suspension and bushes
  7. There are a few minor modifications. As stated already you need the RB25 elbow for the turbo plus I had to get one of the lines modified I cant remember if it was the oil or the water line. One fits fine the other one doesnt.
  8. How much are you after for the Box and Clutch?
  9. Were they brand new when you got them ie are they 10 months old or are they older and just been on the car for the past 10 months. So they are height adjustable front and rear? But only damper adjustable at the rear? If you can confirm these that would be excellent. Pretty interested but Im in Perth:( would you have any idea on postage? Regards Paul
  10. This is Awsome. I need an exaust soon. Strapped for cash at the moment but End of January ill be chasing up for a full exaust. Ill probs pick up the dump/downpipe myself then get you to make up a stainless steel exaust, hollow out the cat, also probs get a muffler off you unless I can pick one up somewhere cheap. This is on a RB20DET cefiro aswell:D God damn you got RB25 I want. Should be a nice car. Would anyone recomend to get aftermarket exaust manifold or not bother and just keep the standard one? Regards Paul
  11. I am in the same position. Own a Cefiro and have R34 calipers and rotors. So just drilling it out while they are still on the car works..... sounds alright then. What about the rear calipers? Is it the same or is it just the front that use the bigger bolts? The bolts came with the brakes except for one *sigh so now I need to find one bolt aswell. Anyone know where you can pick these up from?
  12. Cheers. I went back there yesterday got another bloke and he said the one I had was for a Q45..... lol no wonder it didnt fit. Anyway picked up the conversion plate and fits like a charm. Sounds wiked too, turbo flutter anyone?
  13. Ok Yesterday called into Jshop and picked myself up one of those Apexi bolt on filters. Couldnt wait to get it on. As soon as I got home, pull off the old standard intake and try and bolt this POD on and I have actually found the POD is miles too big for the AFM. Well not miles but definately enough to know this will not bolt on. The dude at Jshop says it fits Most nissans and Ive never heard of any dramas like this. My car is a Cefiro which has the good old RB20DET in it and would have thought that "most nissans" would cover the R32 skyline which is basically the same engine...... Or is it. Does anyone know if the Cefiro has a smaller AFM?? Are there different versions of the Apexi air filter like a big one and a small one? Anyone else had a similar problem like this? I will have to drop back into Jshop after work and see what he says. Just would hate to see I have wasted $90. Any help much apreciated Thanks heaps.
  14. Yeah Im getting the same. This is just putting in www.cefirosaustralia.com Result I get is below VVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVV Forbidden You don't have permission to access / on this server. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Apache/1.3.34 Server at www.skylinesaustralia.com Port 80
  15. Hey man. Are all the brakes intact and working? What kind of diff was in it? standard or aftermarket? PM sent Regards Paul
  16. Ok found out whiteline have different model numbers for the front swaybar, one for the SR20 one for the CA18. Which one should I get for the Cefiro? what are the difference between them?
  17. Just another note. Are you guys able to tell me if R32 sway bars will fit the ceffy? Im pretty sure the fronts are totally different what about the back? I managed to find a cheapo aftermarket swaybar for a R32 and it wont fit my car, obviously im assuming there different here then or is it the good old build quality from whiteline? (which is hopeless) What suspension setups are you guys running? SK would be good, but budget wont stretch that far? I was thinking of either HSD or isc-coilovers 8/6. Would you guys use whiteline adjustable or cusco non adjustable for sway bars? Is it worth paying the lil extra for cusco or just stick with whiteline? Cusco $700 for the pair delivered. Whiteline I think works out to be a be around $480 or something delivered. Regards Paul
  18. Excellent, Ill see you guys there.
  19. Haha yeah me too. I was like what that was over and done with quick. Any more news on this? If no one has a map or doesnt want to make a map up. We could always tag along in the next SAU cruz, doesnt just have to be ceffies and 4 doors. What you guys think? I wonder when the next cruz is....... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=123638 Looks like Saturday 1st July Meet: Citywest Carpark 7:00pm ~ Depart 7:45pm What you guys think?? fairly short notice. Who would be able to make it? Ill go if some/mojority are going.
  20. How many respectful owners do we have of Ceffies Laurels etc in WA?? And what mods have you guys done? Will be good to catch up with you guys and discuss mods to ya cars. BBQ at a park maybe?
  21. Sounds good. Ill be there if im not working.
  22. Excellent. Thanks heaps guys. Just the info I was after
  23. Hi guys I got a A31 and it has the softest suspension ever, owned a R31 before this and even that was stiffer. Ive looked around everywhere for what suspension the ceffies take. Yes ive checked the Cefiro Substitute Parts List. But before Im going to spend the 2k+ I just want to confirm this. 1. If I buy a full set of coilovers for a S13 these are a bolt on fit? Correct? 2. Is this the same deal with the front and rear sway bar. All links etc are the same as the S13? 3. Mechanical diffs. This car is factory RB20DET so I assume R200 diff which is the same as s13-s15 and R32-R34 So I should be able to buy any mechanical diffs which were designed for these and will fit my car. I believe you have to be carefull with the housings though as some are 5 or 6 bolt so I might have to check the housings out if I buy a second hand one thats already in a housing. Most of these parts are easily sourced but Im having some difficulty trying to track down swaybars. Even on nissan Silvia site. What brand did you guys get and where from and how much? Thanks heaps guys. Sorry for the newb questions but I have been looking with the search button. Paul
  24. Yeah, weird. I thought it was a bit of a standard thing (allign to straight) But both places said the same thing. They need to know the toe and camber and i think he said something else, not sure. Ive heard good reports about Wilkinsons so might give them a ring.
  25. Hi guys, As title says i need a wheel alignment bad. Front left outer part of the tyre has gone down to almost nothing in 400km of driving. I knew it needed one but didnt know that bad. I went to maddington tyre and suspension and they dont have the specs for the Cefiro. Wouldnt even look at it. Another tyre place tyre place down the road didnt have the specs for them either. So where do you guys, obviously aiming at people in WA get your cefiro done? Either that or if someone could tell me the specs to get wheels aligned so the individual workshop can do it. I have a 88 Cefiro I believe its non Hicas too not sure if that makes a difference. Let me know Thanks in advance
