Just to set the record straight....... Ambrose races in the Craftsman Truck Series and the Busch Series. Number 59 in the Busch series. He was racing in the Mexico City Race that Montoya won over the weekend. Ambrose was running 5th at one stage when i saw him. He ended up 8th. As i said: Its not just clean... anyone can have a clean car, you could drive a brand new car to the show and win otherwise. its the small things that set you apart. if they can see that you are safety minded, then it shows you care more about your ride than the person that just cleaned it for the day. Remember to take things off when cleaning.... dont just wipe around them, prime example is side indicators, remove them clean the whole area plus the indicators.... Mr Sniper911

If you are looking to be in like the autosalon... then do whatever makes a splash.... BUT If you a looking for a show and shine comp, then other than an extremely clean car (make sure you clean under rubber seals, under floormats, in all exposed areas, under numberplate, in gaps etc) but a first aid kit, a reflective triange, jack, spare tyre, and owners manual were all things i was told about by judges.
