  2. yes this is good thanks for sharing, this is the whole reason why i started this thread in the first place, pls people share what you have found, im convinced there is more stuff out there that people have and i would love them to take the time to share with the community

  4. has anyone heard of this before or know of another big amp alternator that fits
  5. hey my alternator is screwed on my rb25det, i read that people are upgrading with a bigger nissan quest 110a to 120a alternator and they have to grind a hole out on the alternator and make a custom bracket for it to fit on an rb25det. Has anyone here done this and did they make the bracket or buy one from somewhere?
  6. hey mate do you still have the alternator? what model is it for, i need one for my r33 gtst s2
  7. i was hopeing to find one in victoria western suburbs somewhere so i could drive and pick it up and try plugging it in quickly just to make sure it fixes my error code 12. So is there anyone in driving distance from ballarat that has a pink label afm
  8. hey i have an r33 gtst s2 and that has a pink sticker afm and i seen someone selling an r34gtt afm that says its a pink sticker one, are these the same and interchangable?
  9. yes i bypassed the safc afm wire so it was straight through to the ecu and still the same error
  10. hey the car has been having problems so i ran the ecu test and it came up code 12 which is afm, i opened my afm up and resoldered it and cleaned it but didnt fix it, tge weird thing is the car still runs well and i have a safc installed which shows that the afm is working and measuring the airflow. but it must be damaged enough for the ecu to detect it as bad, so is there maybe something else that can make an error code 12 come up beside the afm?
  11. is the afm for sale? and if so is it the pink sticker one
  12. hey im after this afm as close as possible to ballarat, so if you have one and your not too far away let me know

if the hose from the plenium to the bov was blocked would the bov stay closed permanently, or would pressure in the ic pipe force it open sometimes? i thought about fitting the stick bov back on in the stock location and leaving my aftermarket one where it is and then finding some kind of valve so i can run the plenium vac hose to both bov and have the valve set so i can direct the vac line to goto whichever bov i want at the flick of a switch, as long as the bov that isnt turned on doesnt open at all. I hope i have described this right
  14. maybe you dont appreciate some of it but i guarantee that alot of other members do, this thread is for everything and anything for skyline, even some of the more basic stuff. Please if anyone has anything they can add then please take the time to upload it here for everyone to see

if your aftermarket one isnt too big you could make it fit in the stock postition and just block the fmic hole where your aftermarket one now, thats what i will do if i can get the plumb back adapter for my one
  16. anyone?
  17. thanks guys i was having nightmares of rippin my dash out and opening up the aircon to clean it all out haha
  18. hey i melted a huge hole in my aircon hose under the hood when i had my screamer pipe on and i didnt realise for quite a while, i knew it stopped blowing cold air but i still used it to just blow air a few times and the heater still works fine so i had run that quite a bit with this big hole melted through the silver insulated aircon hose. Anyways i have got a new hose to put on it and i will then get it filled back up with has cos obviously its empty but im worried about all the crap that would have got inside that big hole, everytime it has been turned on would it have sucked and blown all that crap inside it all? and if so what would i need to clean exactly? would it have gotten into the aluminum canister or into the unit in the dash, the aircon is totaly empty so i can safely open stuff up but in not sure where i would need to clean

the original is a metal pipe that goes straight into the rubber air intake hose on the turbo and the other end just uses a bit of rubber hose to join the metal pipe to the stock bov, thankfully i still have all of the stock parts

haha yeah i have the stock spot blocked off with a plate as well and have the aftermarket one in the wheel well on the fmic pipe. And yeah just let me know about the 30th mate

yeah i am so i would have to remove aftermarket one on the fmic and have the hole welded up and then i can put the stock one back on the cross over pipe and plumb it to the intake, unless i can track down the plumb back adapter for the aftermarket one and then i can just simply plumb that one to the intake. Its a pain in the ass lol
