Spotted CYIFLY near Auburn? MARSS in George Street. A Gold/Yellow R33 with a black wing wearing a SAU sticker on the quatre panel going through Chittaway. A few grey R32's in the city. One pssching past a nice WRX.

Spotted a few Skylines lastnight around West Pennant Hills. R32 GTR. - black (no idea about plates) R33 GTST - white (no idea about plates) R33 GTST - silver (A??-??? black and white plates) Spotted a black R32 on the Freeway with green P plates. Big Trust stickers on the front. Plates started with A. Gave a wave, tint was too black to see if we got one back.

Why can I see my mum in one of those?

I wish I lived closer to Drummoyne I'd snap it up.

I'm in the same boat.. 6 days until my P's. My R33 has a 4" tip and a really deep sound, it's quite loud, can definately be heard.. Not too ricy though. -_- I guess I will have to wait and see what happens with the exhaust. My neighbour is a cop and said he thinks i will get harassed about it. :<

I think ameet would be good aswell. I think there is an organge R32 around? I'm not sure if he lives on the coast of visits?

There are constantly 2 outside TM Autosports. 1 is a black R33. 1 is a white R33. I'm pretty sure the white one is one of the mechanic's/owners?

Woah, Erina.. That's close to home. Lucky to say that it wasn't me ^_^ lol. *checks skyline is still in garage* If I hear anything I'll let you know.. hope you do the same. Aren't too many black R33's on the coast

Ive considered that, but then i read a few comments some guys posted and they said that they get targeted for taking up 2 spaces. :s You can't win.

I'm sure we could get people, but it's just do people think they're car (as mentioned) is show car worthy? Skylines like 2GU UP and such you would expect to see, asmuch as I love my car and stuff, I'm not sure if it's worthy of a car show? Maybe a local one down the road.. Just my thoughts.. If I had a R34 GTT nicely done, or a R34 GTR i'd definately be up for it. I'm interested, but there are alot nicer cars then mine I think.

I'm interested, but I'm not sure if my car is really showcar worthy. Sure the kit is nice, and looks good.. but that's about it.. It's nothing special. I'll watch the thread, and see what happens. I should be heading down there anyway ;o

Ive done a quick search, and it's come up empty.. so that makes me think either all these threads have been deleted, or no one has ever posted. I'm not too sure where this goes, so I thought general Skyline Discussion was a good spot. Im sorry if my search skills are totally crap, and there are 40,000 threads on this matter. Anyway, to the story. Earlier today I just got my R33 Series 1 GTS 1993 back from the RTA place where they have the Pits and etc, after it had to have a test on how genuine the VIN number was, and how genuine my car was. (e.g If it was a re-birthed car or not). The news was pretty bad, getting my numberplates for my birthday and the guy tells us that all cars (supposedly 'thousands') have been dodgied up with this VIN number with a '97' in it. Being 16, and this being my 2nd car, I didn't really know what to think. We got my Skyline from Victoria, the guy who sold it to us is a good bloke, and I immediately knew that he wouldn't of done it on purpose. Now this man behind the counter is telling us we have to take it to this inspection immediately and to only drive from the RTA to the inspection bay and no where else. We got to the place, the guy took the car into a garage where myself and my dad couldn't go in, but could see in (only just) as he scanned the car up and down, looked at joints, (for bodgy welds), and etc.. After some questions, he dropped a remark "in my 20 years of doing this it's not gonna be a re-birth.. don't take my word, but i highly doubt it is". Finally, some relief. Now they had to send the details down to VIC (send or phone.. not too sure) and VicRoads had to tell us the outcome. To cut a decent story short, we got the results back today and my car is clean, wasn't rebirthed and everything is cool. I was just wondering if fellow SAU members have been hit by this '97 VIN' number, and what happened?

It's not too hard.. Just make sure incase something does come up.. you have sufficient rego left on the QLD plates to keep putting around (if u dont have any other cars). For example, don't leave it to the day before to rego it.. becuase as far as I know you get a refund on ur plates. When i got my car from VIC, It still had rego until May this year.. So I had to send the receipt of the plates to VICRoads and I got a refund.

I might have to get one. My exhaust is considerably loud.. Group buy ^_^ lol

Spotted a white Series II GTST (White) near TM Autosports Tuggerah. Plates were A?? ??? (Slim black and white NSW plates)
