^^^ Dan's workshop is called Elit racing development ( it isnt really a workshop yet, but soon it will be). He is really good at what he does, and specially at working on skylines, and all RB engines.

i was actually thinking of this conversion myself, 2jz into a GTR........ 2jz is a better engine than Rb26 in terms of engine design and strength, and definately oil control, so good to see someone else has done it. good work mate!! btw, ill stick to my Rb26, since im so loyal to nissans.lol

go to your mechanic and ask for a mechanical oil pressure check up, it should give you a true reading. if its reading fine on the mechanical gauge, get your sendor unit changed( it costs around 200 from nissan). if its reading like that on the mechanical gauge as well, you are in serious trouble. it could be the oil pump or bearing....... personally i think its your gauge, coz if its really zero oil pressure, you would start to hear some loud noise from your engine..., and its just a matter of mins before the motor is gone.

befoe you take the engine apart, always check the sendor unit!!! it is known to cause problems like this.

Hey mate, just one question: are you sure you are looking for a GTR with RB26DETT in it? coz the R33 with RB25 will have a huge prive difference comparing to the real GTR R33s with RB26. and also, what is your budget?

someone please tell me howyou can add an external wastegate on a stock turbo on the RB25, which has a wastegate built in.

i found a special aussie brand( can not recall the name) at Autobarn the other day and its bloody cheap. i was told this company sponsor a lot of doorslammers. i was looking at their full syn 10w-40, with ester, and 5L only cost around 45 bucks. apparently this oil should work as well as Motul 300V.Does anyone have any experience with them? do you guys think its all right to put it in?

i think its your aircon gate thing inside the dash, it tries to shut itself every time you start your car but since it was not put back properly after the dash was striped, it keeps hitting the vent. that is my understanding of the matter, have seen quite a few R33 doing this.

it is a type of motorsport only when it is done in a controlled environment properly, and in this case, down the 1/4 strip. im not saying im all innocent, but at least i am not proud of what i have done.

if i can afford they will be: Os Giken RB30 bottom end with a totally rebuilt Rb26 top Twin Trust TD06 turbo Motec M800 Edit: my gear box will be long gone which means a Os Giken Sequential gear box will be needed as well.lol money is a terrible thing, isnt it.
