IE cache, I know what your talking about but its not like an instant thing its while im downloading from scratch, say about an hour into it it will just say download complete .. very annoying. I have an up side and a downside to this. Upside is that I have a 1.5mb/sec connection, the downside is that the downloads seem to break .. like .. the 700mb ones will get to 158mb and then it will say "download complete", then of course when i go to play it it doesnt work. I can't use download programs either cause of the firewall my comp operates thru. Its shitting me at the moment cause i really want these vids, are there any ideas?

Fair enough you've set a price and want to stick to it, but your going to have to find one big sucker to buy your car for 20k. There are '95 R33 GTS-t's floating around for that price, probably even less at times, and note that this is a turbo car. Also note that you cant just bolt a turbo onto an N/A. The compressions are completely different and it has been calculated many times that it is cheaper just to replace the entire egine with a turbo one. You say that you'd like to see an identical care for 14k? Well there are plenty .. 33spec got his for a bit more than 14k and he ended up with a '96 R33 GTS. Its only worth what you can get for it, and your not going to get 20k. Id be listening pretty closely to adam 32. I absolutely agree that the R32 GTR is far from a suitable alternative to a 13k R33. Sure Geoff has '89 R32 GTR's for a bit of extra cash, but like adam 32 said, running costs and what about insurance, for a 20 year old! By the time you buy the GTR, insure it, repair/maintain it you are going to be WELL over the 20k you guys are talking about, not to mention how much it will cost afterwards just driving the thing. I think the non-turbo is a sensible option, provided you are happy with the power levels, you'll sure as hell be spending a lot less on maintaining it. Have fun with your purchase(s).

Im planning to buy an R32 GTS-t/4 later in the year but this has made me wonder ... If I import at the end of the year, would the price still be around the same or would it entail a much higher price? Sorry im a little confused about the laws at the mo. Cheers.

But why are you working out the equivalent?!?!?!? Thats what im saying, its meaningless unless your buying the fuel in England with Australian dollars!! If the income is earnt in the same country you buy the fuel, then exchange rates are useless, thats what MY point was. I understand your point when comparing fuel prices to average income earned, but why the hell are you concerned with the equivalent?? "Case Proven!" You can never prove anything with hypothetical and estimated information, your figures (estimates) are just averages that are not anywhere near 100% accurate. 'Prove' is a dangerous word to use. And another point, how many residents in England that own GTR's do you think are on 'average' wage? Another thing ... $1.10 in Australia is now expensive with the war over, that figure was the maximum average, it is quite a bit lower (Although not enough for the ending of the war) which would whack your calculations way out.

Just because they pay 80p doesnt mean that they are forking out the equivalent of $1.90 aust per litre. 80p to them is 80p ... it woulnt matter unless you were buying their petrol in Aussie dollars, that is, international trade. The fact that it is equal to $1.90 is simply the exchange rate calculation. If the average person in england earned 25,000 punds a year .. and here the average person earned 25,000 dollars .. then its the same.

Just my opinion, but I think that kit looks gay. Don;t get me wrong, I like a few veilside kits, but that is too much for my liking.

I just have a quick question, if you bought a nice exhaust, then later down the track did an engine swap, say from an RB20 to an RB25 in an R32, would you have to buy a new exhaust? Just had me wondering for a while tis all.

riggaP, Yes I understand the fact that potential energy leads to kinetic energy, this is the same for everything that moves, but increasing fuel and oxygen to create additional power doesnt just relate to physics. Remeber we are only talking about the power/fuel ratio. Of course a moving car is related to physics, but when talking about the AMOUNT of fuel that is required to put out an AMOUNT of power, it is not just physics but also involves mathematics and chemistry. The additional oxygen and fuel is used to create a greater CHEMICAL reaction, thus this reaction uses more fuel and creates more power. The fact that this reaction creates kinetic energy is irrelevent, because the consumption of fuel has already been determined from the chemical reaction. Thus an increase in power is a result of a greater chemical reaction, where a greater volume of chemical components are required. I agree that physics are involved, since the final output is power and cars move! but the ratio itself relies on a chemical concept, the physical concept is simply the result. I think what you meant was that it is simple science. I don't mean any harm or flaming, all in good fun.

Hey Shell, Actually I have ALL their albums, and I think a lot of their songs suck bigtime, although a few are ok. Reanimation wasn't all it was cracked up to be but the new one is alright comparitively. Its not just the image of 'In The End' I hate, its the lyrics as well ...
