yeah mine is a carny to get into second when cold, thought it was something really wrong, crunched it a little the other day :S but never does it when the car has wormed up for about 3 mins.
how much would it cost to fix a synchro?
no they arent. my 255s would be cheaper if they were 18s rather than 17s :S
id go 17s as the roads round here are pretty gay too... a mates commo with 18s is a bugger up my road compared to my r33. but its not just wheels, suspension change ride feel too...
octane boosters arent really good for engines as they can leave deposits n shit... there was a guy on here ages ago who took his turbo off and had crap in it n stuff from fuel additives and octane boosters. he took a pic, thats why i remember... anyhoo...
fuel injector cleaners are good to put thru an engine say when you first get it or sefvice or so. if they actually need to be cleaned the only way is to do it properly rather than just tipping a bottle of whatever into your tank.
octane boost should only really need to be used if you cant get decent petrol and you need to get home urgently. they are also good for when you want to sell your car and you want the engine to be a bit smoother than it is for test drives... most noticable on holen 202 engines
ive got my speaker amp next to the battery in the boot behind the cover thing. my sub amp is mounted on a board where the aerial is in the boot... havent had a prob yet with em overheating yet...
from what ive read it make the ecu think the air is cooler and runs richer. extra 60 miles out of a tank my arse. a few commodore owners on some site have tried these for a cheap power increase and the virdict is they just suck and dont waste your money.
whoa... on ya rags mate J/K
Anyhoo the closest thing to a 'oil resivior' would be the powersteering fluid as the hicas light can come on when the ps fluid is low...
i took it for a spin when i test drove it... loved it then a few days later i picked it up and drove it for the 2hour drive home...
When i got it, it smelled like fried rice an insence(sp?) wasnt good. but now i got it smelling like my old car... and i get compliments about it lol i dont get it.. people like the smell of my cars... i should become a car detailer
no, I am The Stig!!
Why have a nice looking car and not alarm? and no alarm = no insurance so sucks for your friend. perhap nextime, instead of spending $$$ on fibreglass, how about alarm and insurance. a lesson learnt the hard way...
search for a ropic on this a little while ago. a short shift isnt just a shorter gearstick, the bottom part as more curve or something to shorten shifts.
autos are always cheap. cmon an auto skyline? get a commodore if you wwant an auto...
manual skyline will always stay a few $k above the auto variant as most buyers of skylines dont want an auto. same with other cars.
put me down for a pair of front slotted rotors for r33 gtst. but it does depend when the gb closes... its looking good so far... if it starts to look like more than a fortnight from now i may get some rears too...
C&G has clutches for sale in the group buy section. got mine from him last week i got option 1 (organic) great clutch does the job good just throw him a PM. good bloke.
