  3. Hey Valentin, Read this thread mate: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sp...ec-t198617.html
  4. I know - you'd think I'd get around to washing my car hey, it's horrible........... !!
  5. They must have been casing you for a while. For 30 minutes, to rock up with a flatbed etc... or to disable a top notch alarm, well that's a lot of work!! Sorry to hear - hope you get it back.
  6. Yeah mate - sure was It's an awesome road isn't it. I'd never gone past the halfway house before (from Sydney) and now I wonder why it took so long to do that extra leg!!
  7. Went up the Putty Road to Singleton and back yesterday... saw "321 GO" R32 and a R34 GTR..
  8. I've owned a 33 GTS-T and 33 GTR and I was surprised as to how much better than GTR is to drive. I mean, I know it's not a fair comparison, but even cruising around off boost, they feel quite different. The GTR feels a lot more tough and weighed, but doesn't feel that heavy.... certainly feels huge though, due to the lower seating position etc... it feels like a massive car but I love that, you get confidence from it. GTS-T's are still great cars though, no doubts there I'd say it's worth the upgrade though. I always thought they'd drive quite similar, I was pretty surprised when they didn't.
  9. I agree with R31Nismoids comments.
  10. Well an R33 is worth $12k, whereas an S15 is still around $22k. Huge price difference, certainly not fair to compare. I'd say the S15 would be a good buy. It's newer, more reliable etc, and easy to get power out of.
  11. It's got a rebuilt motor or something? I can see the top of the engine is purple - that's not standard. Car looks good!
  12. Hey mate, I've got an aftermarket blade on mine but can still measure if you want? So top of boot to top of side parts of the wing ??
  13. Not 100% on whether they are aluminum but there are no body panel changes between V-spec and Non V-Spec GTR's, apart from a V-Spec sticker on the rear
  14. And in regards to A-LSD, here's other RACERS agreeing with the thoughts about A-LSD and ATTESA improvements.... no one can feel the driving difference haha.. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/33...driving+GTR+LSD
  15. I haven't heard that before, I'd be very surprised as there should be no differences in the transfer case. I have been told the A-LSD can often become a hinderance when there's a problem with it, but I don't know much about that. I'm happy with my non V-SPEC, as it was in much nicer condition than the V-SPECs I was looking at I drove a few V-SPEC and non V-SPEC R33 GTR's and didn't feel f**k all difference. Complete list of differences: Seriously, I can't push enough to buy off condition.... they can become expensive if you get a crap one.
  16. When you realise how slow and crap the CBR250 is compared to the CBR600/R6s etc, I doubt you'll want to use it on the track......
  17. R32 or R33? All R33s have HICAs.
  18. R33 GTR or R32 GTR, or?? Between R33 GTR Vpsec and Non-Vspec, there's bugger all difference. Find the one in the best condition.
  19. What cruise are you talking about? Where do they go? Etc..
  20. Long time no speak man. Not sure if you remember me... remember that fun Bathurst cruising with the quick bells line run? I had the 33 gtst back then though. Sorry to hear you sold your car. Anyway, I've got a Suzuki LAMS bike (GS500) at the moment, cause I'm three months away from getting my full license. I've got the cash ready to buy either 04-05 YZF-R1 and GSX-R1000, I just won't know which I prefer until I ride both. It's still a very long three months away
  21. Best case is it's a problem with your oil pump and you replace that, which is in fact most likely the case I reckon.... If you turned it off quickly after it lost pressure, you might not have damaged anything at all
  22. Guess the tyres on those rims... FALKEN ZIEX!! Pretty much like the worst tyre out..... horrible horrible stuff
  23. I've got a Suzuki GS500 and it's a great learners bike. Reliable, new, bigger (so if you're fat or tall, it's perfect for you), easy to ride, good for the exams... not the best looking bike but it's a bike that you don't have to touch, just ride it and wait until you get your full license (4 months 2 days and counting....)
  24. I find my GTR rear diff to be rather tight as well. It's always trying to lock up around corners and get the car to go sideways, and also when doing tight turns it keeps trying to lock up (I'm struggling to explain it). Factory GTR diff....
