I too had this happen on my GTR, i replaced all the seals, O rings etc and they just kept leaking. I cleaned them off so they were dry and started it up to see where fuel was coming from and it started seeping from the sides of the injectors ! Replaced with some 2nd hand jobbies and all was good. Note: mine started leaking not long after i had overheated the engine with a split hose, so maybe the heat had damaged them internally ?

Go the kero and metho mix, it will come out eventualy. Make sure you bleed the air out of the system each time you fill it back up using the little bleed screw on the drivers side of the engine !

Wouldnt hurt to check / replace the fuel filter too.

Ive got a set of R32 GTST rims in good nic, tyres arent great, prob get a couple of laps out of em !$200 is what im after.

Yes i do use a catch can and it has never filled up. The most i ever get out of it is about 100mls after doing five or six runs down the quarter ! It was much the same after doing about ten laps of QLD raceway. I do have a oil filter relocator and oil cooler so that might take up a bit extra oil. Ive had no probs with with it at all and i know a few others that do it as well with no probs. Like i said, mines been running like this for a couple of years now and done over 30,000 kms so i think if anything was going to go wrong it would have by now.

I run the extra litre in my 32 as when i used to accelerate hard in first and second my oil press would momentarily drop off ! With the extra litre ive never a problem since and its been like that for couple of years now.

What state are the wheels in ( dont say QLD ) and how much ?

Actually i did use to, when i first took my 99 sti to the race track and found out it speed cut at 180 kmh which was cutting of the fuel and yes it did melt a couple of pistons ! And yes it was a dumb ass thing to do ! Also micro tech ecu have function you can set up as a launch control.

So drive yore car on the limiter for a while and see how long it lasts ! Ive seen the melted pistons this causes ! Ignition cut is definately better and you get the bonus of lots of bangs and flames !

I went in this last year ( maroon 32 GTR ) it was awesom, only going as a spectator this year as cant afford all the tyres and stuff you end up going through !

Yeah, thats whats im getting at - they might also find it amusing and let you go ! ( though not likely ) When i registered my car i was told the pod filters were not legal and had to go. I asked to see where this was written in the rule book, the guy couldnt find anything either way so let it go through anyway !

So is not being able to open your bonnet a defect ? Maybe that might slow them down a bit ! Just relocate your bonnet release, leave the old one there and say it must of just broke ! What they cant see cant hurt hey.

Yeah mine used to do that also and i know the motors o.k. The dipstick was loose so i put a small spring on it !. Probobly should just buy a new one as its a pain to check oil level now !

Yeah my 32 GTR with PFC does this also ! It has version 8.04A. Seems same as others- could happen a few times a day, hot or cold, mostly light throttle. I was told was prob a AFM problem but when i run it with the stock nissan ECU the problem stops so that rules that out.
