  1. Hey guys, got here a complete diff assembly, not just the centre, everything u need including the half shafts, housing, centre and plug for ABS (works with non-ABS cars as well), i can also shim it to whatever size ud like if u are after something tighter for the track or drifting purposes. Is in good condition, i've run it in my car for the street, works fine, i used to swap this in for when my car was on the street, and have another diff for the track, only selling it as my car is focused on the track, and no longer need a diff for the street. Located in SA near Mitcham Price: $300 $350 shimmed to whatever size you'd like Pics: (moisture around the seal is gasket goo)
  2. Alright guys, got a Sparco Rev fixed back seat here, structurally in good nick, the fabric is torn in a few places, but nothing too bad. I've used this on my drift car for a year or so, holds very well, and overall a great seat. perfect for someone wanting a cheap, good quality seat for the track or just to hold them in nice and tight. this is the seat only, no rails. this is the seat here: http://www.searleraceequipment.com.au/shop...o_rev_5_plus/40 as u can see they retail around $1000 new. this seat fits someone with a slim build, no fat-arses Price: $300 Located in SA near Mitcham some pics of the actual seat: http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j121/nisskid/DSCN2441.jpg http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j121/nisskid/DSCN2443.jpg dont have any better ones atm, if ur serious i can get some more, or u can just come suss it out urself.

  4. that would be fine, but still lose steering feel, and personally i think nothing looks worse than low profile tyres ballooning on big rims. what tyre (brand and model) were u thinking of putting on?
  5. for anyone interested i got a quote and i can send it for about $350 delivered to NSW and Vic
  6. tyre bulge, will mean the tyre can move around the rim a lot easier and make the steering indirect, too high profile, will put ur speedo out. any reason why u wanted to use it?
  7. it's probably all bs, but i couldnt care less, finally he gets to feel the wrath of sensationalised media making up bs like we have for years.
  8. i wouldnt recommend it, but it can be done.
  9. whiteline arms are fine for street, they use a urethane bush. offset bushes are cunts to use and i wouldnt recommend them to anyone.
  10. out of interest chef, how much is it costing them to bring them back through you? i'm going over to Japan in a few weeks to work in the ski fields, but hopefully will be over until spring matsuri, and thinking of buying a 32, and bringing it back over complete as banged up as it might get.

  12. when u said turn out i thought u meant making the hole bigger. i guess it was possibly a bit of false hope that it was a more advanced question than the same stuff we get in this section every day. yes u have to get an alignment when u change the height, mainly because of dynamic toe, ur toe being out will wear ur tyres quicker than camber, and cant be rotated as well as camber wear.
  13. ud be better off creating a new hole, instead of elongating the existing one. obviously u want to leave some decent meat between the 2 holes, i dont know how much there is, if it was me id probably drill a new hole right down near the bottom, then weld some metal on top with a hole that lines up to reinforce it.
  14. nothing wrong with a rattle gun set on low torque, if the stud is threaded by hand, and it's finished with a torque wrench, and when i say finished, i mean not just "checked" with the torque wrench like a lot do, u want to at least move the wrench a bit before it clicks, so u know it's on the right torque, not just at least at the torque, probably over. btw this is assuming they are steel nuts, imo alloy nuts should be done purely by hand, and only when cold.
  15. cool, they didnt bring the RE-01R here so it's promising that there is a market for high end tyres here, hopefully it's not just them importing privately, and that bridgestone Aus is actually supplying them here.
  16. yeh there are variables, but the fact that they can be shown to be competitive with the RE-11 yet cost nowhere near the same, according to tirerack, for 235/45's, Z1's are 5/8 the price of the RE-11's
  17. i'll get a price for you mate, what postcode?
  18. from what i've heard the RE-11's are amazing, but as always they will be bloody expensive, and doubt they will be sold in aus. the Z1 star specs are a good jump from the KU36's without going too ridiculous with the $$
  19. i cant believe uve gone through bilsteins, i've hit bigger things than speed bumps at over 90ks and they are still fine.
  20. chuck some adjustable camber arms on and get an alignment. the reason why shops dont like whiteline camber kits (the offset bushes) is because they are cunts to adjust as opposed to adjustable arms which are on-car adjustable.
  21. yeh true, but at the same time if u clog a thread up with images constantly loading etc, people miss ads, if people are interested they will click the link, at least then the posts without embedded images wont get lost in between then.
  22. anyone wanna see me in a speedo? i have some killer thighs, i promise.
  23. and in case you're a little puzzled by the confusion i might be able to help u out, see here's the post you quoted (quite clearly talking about KU36's) and this is the reply you posted with my quote: this part is my favourite: You have the advertised price of the company you are touting. Now contact Elite racing and get their price. the price i gave was clearly for KU36's, then you requested me to contact elite and get their price, logic would tell you that u meant for KU36's since that would, well, make sense right? this might, just might explain why people thought you meant elite had KU36's at better prices than option.
  24. problem is KU36's dont come in 255's, it was either 245/35 or 265/35, both would have been fine, the 265 obviously being a tighter fit, but the price jumps a decent amount from the 245 to the 265
