  1. all you have to do to clean them is get some liquid polish and cut and polish it away! i did mine and they came up 200% better than what they looked before
  2. you might not have any luck with ADD as they don't exist anymore! they moved and changed their name. They are dodgy as hell anyway!
  3. they say that when you leave a car for a long time you should raise it on stands, take all the load off the suspension
  4. Gees i bet the government wants to know who is still selling R12 a/c refrigerant. as it was phased out in 1996, and is pretty much illeagal to use/sell in this and just about every country in the world. there was a gas made up when they phased R12 out, but it was only used for a few years as a substitute untill R134a was standard. R12 is an ozone depleting gas. So if you want this planet to be around for your future generations i would suggest doing the right thing and convert the system to R134a + i would report whoever told you they could get you R12 becuase they are dodgy and i wouldn't trust them with my car anyway!
  5. don't even bother doing it yourself! just take it to someone who knows!
  6. Why don't you just loop the hose straight back on itself at the pump. You should never have pulled it apart! And as far as using old power steering fluid lines for fuel..... well that would be down right stupid!
  7. Dude i say do it. everyone can talk sh*t all they want, but untill you just up and do it to see you will never know! I reckon that everyone is overthinking the whole situation. What are we looing at? 1000hp no, so i don't think it's gonna matter! i mean all that inlet runner crap! point is shorter pipes= good bigger throttle body = good! so i say just do it!
  8. if you want genuine pipes be prepared to pay genuine prices. jesus people whinge.
  9. Dude, Stickers aren't mods! ha
  10. TE37's + Skyline = good. i can't believe you got rid of them
  11. hey man why don't you just get a cheaper series one.. and spend what you have left over on mods!? that's what i am doing.
  12. just don't wrap yourself around a pole... cos then all the rest of us would have to put up with hoon stories on a current affair! and then we'd all be riding mopeds when the government bans high performance cars!
  13. my knee rubs on the door! it hurts after a while!
  14. i think the way they changed the indicators and parkers in the bumper on the series 2 looks shithouse. other than that, they might have a better looking grille and maybe a better wing. but jesus, to say the series 1 is ugly.... you just payed the shit out of about %90 of your own car. good one. HA
  15. You could also Go to Chip torque at the gold coast, My mate got PowerFC+contoller fitted and tuned for around two grand (Mates rates). But Still. They can tune it.
  16. I Don't have any pics, and i don't really feel like taking my back seats out in a hurry! I Don't know whether it does anything because when i came across it, it was unplugged i plugged it in and nothing happened so......? i dunno. Maybe it's ABS related becuase i don't have ABS but it might just be there...... Ohhh how i wish i had $400 for the english version of the workshop manual!
  17. there are guys that do mobile vinyl repairs and are pretty good at getting scratches etc on dash boards to go away or look alot better. but they won't get rid of actual gouges or cuts in a hurry. they do a good job though. they have saved my arse many times! (hazzards of being a rough prick in a dealership service department)
  18. i have a series one 1994. and it doesn't have airbags or ABS. probably still optional back then.
  19. Oi. I was putting in new coilovers the other week and i came across this weird module attached to the parcel shelf bracket on the LHS. i have no idea what it is so if anyone knows please tell me. i suspect something HICAS related cheers
  20. yeah cheers i'll have a look at all those things. and i am booked in to fulcrum on saturday morning
  21. hey, I recently got my hands some damper and height adjustable tein coilovers off an import fresh into the country for $250 (all four) for my R33. they've been in for about two weeks and yesterday while i had the car up on the four post hoist i noticed that all four had cracks straight through the bottoms of the eye where the lower bush is bolted to your steering knuckle i don't know whether we missed this when installing them or whether this has happened since being on my car... but it is concerning. Has anyone else encountered this problem or i am the special one with rooted coilovers? cheers.
