Hi Guys, Got a Blue V35 premium and am thinking about painting it. So far i have removed the front number plate mould and filled all holes, so it looks like the US version. All badges have been removed to fit Infiniti badges. I have the clear front indicators, Infiniti scuff plates and a few other bits. This is the problem: Do I simply re-spray the front bar back to original and forgett about it leaving the car looking nice tidy and stock or do I re-spray the car totally? I am really thinking of doing a colour fade on it from the standard blue on the top (lets me leave roof, bonnet and bootlid standard) down to a dark blue around the base. Much like the Queen St BMW's and Mercedes. I woudl still clear over the whole car making it look fresh and remove all windows etc to get a top job with no edges. This is just something different as there are begining to be alot of V35's around and I want to make it different. Car is getting 20 or 22inch wheels and already has a trust exhaust. any feedback would be good......... Thanks guys.

Mine will be changed soon and yes it all comes down to money, I am simply pulling the whole standard system out and replacing it with new stuff. Have been quoted $4500 + labour + double din kit. For this i will end up with a very loud, crisp top end system that will be sure to please anyone. The system includes 4 sets of Boston Splits, 2 MTX subs and MTX amps to run it. Before you go to far trying to keep it factory look into a full replacement system. Its the only way to get really really goot top end sound.

Would be good to sell and start with a lesser car as in the end it wont really matter but if car does not sell in a couple of months I will just use this as a base, May sell of premium interior etc who knows.

All the parts are brand new and have never been fitted, scuff plates are a full replacement pannel. Thinking of selling to the the fact the car is so good i dont really want to go pulling it appart and stuffing around with it as i know it will at the end of the day be harder to sell etc. Just thinking of selling and going for either a lower spec car that i would paint, trim and build as a show car or even a R34 GTR and leave it pretty much stock standard. It just seems silly to pull such a good car appart and retrim, possibly paint and cut up interior.

cheapest on the market are around 30, non premium with high kms. Sunroof is also very rare in australia

Guys was going to use the V35 as my next project car but really begining to change my mind. Some details on the car: 03 V35 premium coupe Blue in colour 14,000kms Bose sound with Screen SUNROOF 18 inch wheels Additional parts, Brand new trust exhaust (have original) Chrome infiniti door handles Infiniti front and rear badges Crear front blinkers Infinit scuff plates What would someone be prepaired to pay for something like this. Car is said be be faultless and drives like new. Any ideas? was a grade 4.5 A with all books etc, auction sheets everything available. We all know there is already alot of crap around but wehat is a REAL good car worth?

Putting in a double din touch screen unit with DVD / Ipod etc etc. Will also put aftermarket screen in the standard position just for show. Conver it from the NTSC original. Need the headunit to run high voltage RCA's to amps. Will be removing the whole Bose system and replacing every component.

bro postage is cheap if you purchase through riverside so wont really matter. Where you located?

Are you sure? rules must have changed. Even alot of Aus delivered cars now have this rear tinting, New Subaru and Lexus all have optional privacy on rear only.

Wont be a problem at all, Car passes compliance with this glass. Only front windows have a tint limit on them.

Got a buyer over there mate, Do all the rest our self. Also have compliance for the V35, S15 and a few others

all the standard stereo will eventually come out as i see it as to much stuffing around and $$$ to get it all working. At the end of the day you only end up with a stock stereo. I believe Chris Rodgers on here can get it working but wont be cheap to have full function NAV. Mine will all be replaced with aftermarket items.

After selling my car after Sydney Auto salon final Battle I was a little undecided as to what to buy next. Not being able to make up my mind i bought a 2000 IS200 then proceeded to lower it 4 inches and put 20's on it. Car looked the goods but had no power at all. After thinking for a while I have now bought a 2004 V35 Skyline. Car has around 15,000kms on it and is a premium with sunroof and Bose stereo. I am looking to take this car in another direction, although show / street is nice I want the Skyline to be a classy cruiser. Think I will leave the interior basically standard (few touches here and there) and just upgrade the stereo. Bigger wheels and lower it slightley. Couldn't help myself, car is now at Prime Garage in Japan having a Trust exhaust fitted. This will give it a great note but keep it looking nice and stock. Tell me what you guys think. Have already ordered a few little parts from the states such as clear lights, badges, infiniti scuff plates etc etc.

My bose system will be coming out as soon as it gets here, depends how long you can wait......... Would want $500 for it, or swap for double din set up.

I love the way you think NISMO and am also tempted to supercharge the beast but not really sure if it is worth it. I bought this car to get over the defect problems and just a little worried. Although what are the chances of a cop even knowing if it was standard or not?

Want a loud, bright speaker that can take a real punishing. Have heard a Mercedes that only had one set of SL60's front and back and 2 x 9500 subs and it sounded great. Was contemplating putting the top of the line JL's in the front (sorry dont know model number) but was not as impressed with their performance and they are around three times the price.
