  1. Honestly believe the V35 to be the new Soarer. When they were new to the market they pulled good $$$$$$ now they getting common prices will just keep dropping till people can sell them. Its very hard to sell a good one at a premium price when surrounded by so much crap on the market. I believe the biggest problem is most poeople really dont know what to look for when buying and could not even tell a good car from a lemon anyway.
  2. Guys hate to say this but V35 prices are going to drop Very soon. Premium cars have been coming up at auction in Japan and even been passed in at only 1.1m - 1.3m. This is getting cheap!!!! Base models even grade 4's are easily had for under 800,000 with decent km.. If you are thinking of selling now DO IT NOW. If you are wanting to buy HOLD on a few months if possible. There are so many V35's coming up that they are just not selling. These are an awesome car but just not as popular as other imports. We have had a few V35's and have paid big money for them. My mum has had one over a year and paid over 2m for hers and i just sold mine which I paid 1.7 for. Now looking as selling hers and buying another one because of the huge drop in prices. The cars are comming up to their 5 year rego renewal in japan and alot are being sold.
  3. Thanks mate, they feel quick on the road (very quick) think its just because of the fact it is such a big turbo on only a small motor. Not as gradual as the GTR set up.
  4. Guys sorry it has taken so long but the decision has been made! I purchased a 2000 EVO 6 TME the other day. Car is pretty stock except for the following. Monster motorsport Carbon airbox, Monster motorsport alloy cooler piping, Exhaust and turbo timer. Thank you to everyone for their help.
  5. Mate would not go much cheaper, Just got $37k for mine and it was Auto. Keep firm on the price if you can you will get it.
  6. Had a few messages about the scuff plates. $80 for both. Still have blue plastic on the alloy section.
  7. Hi Guys sold the V35 and have a few little things left, not sure if anyone would want the stuff but ill post it up. Standard Nissan badge for front. Standard rear muffler Skyline scuff plates still with plastic on them. Orange front indicators. Thanks guys.
  8. Mate practicality is not a problem, car only needs 2 seats and 2 doors. Last car was a show car that i drove every day and we had a huge stereo set up in the back seat. Only thing that is scaring me is that I have already had what was suppose to be a good stock 57,000km GTR die on me. Ill admit I do drive cars pretty hard but this is the only car that has ever shit its self. After seeing how my mate treats his EVO and its still going they must be a strong package. What im getting at is was my GTR a complete dud (i think it was) or are they a little fragile when being pushed.
  9. I have driven both but it is very limited what you can find out from a quick drive. I have also done alot of research and the EVO 6 TME seems to be the best evo around track etc due to its light weight, stiffer suspension and titanium wheeled turbo. (will take more boost and comes on earlier)
  10. Hi Guys, Selling my V35 and looking to get back into something more powerful / trackable Have had a R33 GTR V-spec before, Had a few problems with it (mainly blowing the Turbos after owning it like 2 weeks) Just wanting to know what the reliability is really like on these GTR's as they are getting pretty old now. I would be looking at a 98 R33 GTR series 3. If I was to go EVO it would be a EVO 6 TME or a EVO 7. From what I hear and read these cars are very reliable, can take a punishing and handle very very well. ( my mate has had a EVO 6 for 3 years and only done a clutch) Just wondering what you guys would go for and why. This car will probably end up being a daily driver and also used for a bit of track work / hill climb. Thanks.
  11. Yeah may not be factory however whole car is dead stock and it runs spacers on the front. Maybe the Jap that owned it just wanted them stting flush.
  12. My uncle has a 05 V35 with 19's and his are running spacers on the front i think(from the factory). Just make sure you get them if you need them. These are for the Genuine 19's
  13. Thanks mate, Car is like new dont really want to sell it but sort of have to.........
  14. Sorry guys do also have original wheels, blinkers and a few other parts.

  17. Orange peel (effect) From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (Redirected from Orange peel (paint)) Jump to: navigation, search Orange peel is a certain kind of finish that may develop on painted surfaces and cast surfaces[1]. The texture resembles the bumpy surface of the skin of an orange (fruit) hence the name. Gloss paint sprayed on a smooth surface (such as the body of a car) should also dry into a smooth surface. However, various factors can cause it to dry into a bumpy surface resembling the texture of an orange peel. The orange peel phenomenon can then be smoothed out with ultra-fine sandpaper, but it can be prevented altogether by changing the painting technique or the materials used. Orange peel is typically the result of improper painting technique, and is caused by the quick evaporation of thinner, incorrect spray gun setup (e.g., low air pressure or incorrect nozzle), spraying the paint at an angle other than perpendicular, or applying excessive paint. In some situations, such as interior house paint, the orange peel texture is generally desirable. In this case, a texture paint is generally applied with a spray gun. The texture is then painted over with the appropriate color. When painting walls, orange peel can also develop by using a roller with too little paint or too thick a paint and the surface dries before the texture can level.
  18. No, Its called orange peel well that may not be the 100% correct name but its what everyone in the business knows it as. It is as the other guy said the finish left on the car from factory due to poor spray jobs or thick / heavily applied paint. makes the panels of the car look like well....... the peel of an orange. can be very noticable on black cars when you look at a reflection off the paint. Looked it up on the computer to help you with my poor explinations.
  19. No Previous repairs had been done.
  20. Its a 2003 Premium with nav and 18,000km I have all books, auction papers, everything you could ever want. Car also has Sunroof and all the infiniti badging. I want around $37,000 for it, this is a genuine car and with sunroof and perfect body is rare. Not to mention over $1,000 spent on parts plus the $1,000 on exhaust, + Paint and wheels. Would have to have the best body and paint for any V35 of this age. Also has 12 months rego.
  21. Cant get rid of it mate its in the paint from the factory, some cars may have it worse then others, VE commodores are pretty bad in dark colours
  22. Dont have to sell it just though if i get the right money i will, try and put more into property. My mums is red and has orange peel, so does my mates silver but it is harder to spot because of colour.
  23. Car was blue, Just has alot more pearl now. Wanted it to look tidy and streetable not too overdone. It is noticably different in real life. Things that make it too different might make it hard to sell later. I will take it out later in the week for some proper photos.
  24. What you mean blend in paint? whole car has had a full spray no blends at all.
