  1. i know its probably been asked, but i searched over 17 pages and still did'nt get a definite answer... when should 32 gtr turbos be on full boost, mine hit .8 bar at 4100rpm.... is this normal/late??? i just want a correct answer, reason is im getting a tune and want to know if they are standard or highflowed or even some type of n1 item..... id like to turn up the boost whilst getting a tune but dont want to blow them if they are stock all i can say is the car runs 11.7 at 115mph with just front pipes back, clutch, and 12-13 psi, please any educated answer is greatly appreciated... regards denis
  2. ive run 11.71 at 115 with .8bar and exhaust, coilovers and clutch, still stock ecu and fuel system...
  3. i have popped a wheel on my old gtr, after a quater mile run, on the way back it decided t pop, not whilst i was into it.... so who's theory is correct

  6. wernt u the one that was jealous i was using this block??? unknown engine combo?? whats so unknown about it? its pretty much a identical block to a rb30, and i bet you wouldnt even pick it apart from a normal block?

  10. block mods are not done, you can use the rb30 crank, and a slight rebore to 86 + is perfect for 3 litre displacement,

  13. i have tried to get mine off and had no luck, this must be the hardest bolt ive ever tried to get out, i had a 1 meter breaker bar and was cranking the engine whilst the bar was on the floor, and all it did was lift the car.... im going to try cubes method, 4 gear, handbrake and massive massive 2 metre pole....
  14. i relecntly got my radiator flushed professionally at a rad shop, the only reason i did this was to shut the chutch fan up, somtimes it would whine like it was locked on.... after getting teh rad done properly, its even worse, ive bled the system properly as per the workshop manual and had a funnell over the top of the head to get all the air bubbles out...... the clutch fan is pretty much always on, 90% of teh time aniways, it pisses me off and i dunno what the problem is.... same as the heater, used to work 60% of the time, now it doesnt for some reason..... the car has no coolant leaks, the only thing i did was put more than enough coolant concentrate in the system, just to run abit cooler.... car never overheats either ????? all help appreciated... cheers denis
  15. there is a fair bit of modification to get the head to bolt on, the head bolts are in teh same position, there is a water jacket at the rear of cyl 6 that needs to be welded up and the 3 front oil return lines from he head need to be modified with external lines for drainage, you use teh rb30 crank and these blocks were used to running abour 24:1 comp ratio, they weigh about 40ikgs heavier than a conventional rb30 block, and all that weight is situated in the cylinder bores, so it makes it a optimum block for shitting on 2jz blocks,

Hi i have a shitload of aftermarket parts for sale i was going to go hektik in my s15 with a rb30/26, and no have deciede im going to buy a house, doing the smart thing all the engine parts are brand new and some of the bolt on parts are second hand but pretty much brand new..... i am slightly negotiable on somethings so don't bother with low offers, i simply wont reply.... everything is in Sydney, i have no pics atm but will in the next few days...... most parts are for a rb26 Hypertune intake plenum with 85mm (internal size) throttle body, no fuel rail.......... $ 2300 aeris pistons, on spool rods, assembled, but never used...... $$ 1300 Jun oil pump, only fitted to engine, never used.... $ 1000 RD 28 nissan patrol deisel block,virgin bore, shits all over rb30 blocks, and has piston oil squiters $ 800 rb26 cylinder head, complete minus bolt-on hardware like cas and ignitersd and stuff like that, comes with buckets, valves, shims, caps and rocker covers, has had a hardness test, came back perfect, $ 1200 ACL race bearings, installed then pulled out, never been used $$ 300 for the lot GTR head studs $ 200 main studs $ 150 stainless steel manifold for rb26 $$ 350 Innovative turbo systems GT80 turbo, rated at 1050 hp at the wheels on a 3l, 80mm front wheel, .96 rear housing with a x trim wheel, silicon nitride bearings, BRAND new $ 3600 Motec m8 ecu has all featuires unlocked like dual band lambaua and also data logging, comes with wiring harness and map sensor hks cams 272 10.2mm lift inlet and exhaust $ 800 hks valvesprings to suite above $ 400 rb25 gearbox perfect conditioon $ 1100 ati harmonic balancer 1000hp version with water pump pully $$ 800 s15 rear cross member with all r32 gtr acessories, diff, arms, hubs, brakes, everything.... $1500 thats about all for the time bieng, if there is more that crosses my mind ill post it in... cheers denis

  18. do you reckon that about $750 per turbo would have gotten you a steel wheel rebuild about a year ago??? do people still rebuild these turbos with ceramic wheels?
