  1. yes hks step 2 springs are perfectly suited for 272 degree cams with 10.2mm lift so they are ok for your setup

  3. i have 272 10.2 cams in and out, jun pump big port work he sump stud kit ati balancer pauter rods cp pistons custom gudgeon pins o/s valves hks springs mnodified stock crank, snout and grubscrewed oil mods jun retainers all blueprinterd and fully balanced why wouldnty i be able to turn this to 9000rpm???

  5. just wondering what revs the 2 piece bucket and shim are good for in a rb26.... will it throw shims at 9000rpm????? i have hks 272 10.2 in ex jun type b retainers hks step 2 valve springs bronze guides was going to go the one piece kit but engine builder has advised me that the engine will be good for 9000rpm with the standard shims and buckets with his clearences... what yous think???

  9. i wouldnt mate, it will get so bad it will start to missfire badly, after this if u give it a good flog you risk blowing the oil up thru the breathers and leaving the sump with f**k all, it will spin a bearing and they you will be up for even more cash to fix it...
  10. 35r for hill climbs, circuit and quick streeter t04z will be laggy, they are about the same as twin 2530's, will be turning the tyres hard at about 4500rpm,
  11. id be checking it out definatly, its only gona get worse, all other cylinders read 150psi, and that one is 100. there should be only 10 percent variance between then in any case... id be rebuilding it as its obviously not healthy. sorry to inform u mate... The harder you push it, the worse it will get, you will end up with a massive blow by machine... do a leakdown test as it could possibly be a bent valve or a head gasket problem... i think its not due to the comp bumping up with the oil test

  13. i would only use as stated before, carillo, jun, argo and pauter... eagles in a 1000hp motor, no way id be using 500 dollar rods.... they are made in china aswell, there is a reason they are cheap......

Engine/Car: r32 gtr, my old car, very clean purchansed for 9500 Type of failure: after 3 months major blowby, never pulled apart Factors influencing the failure: im guessing 2 much timing and also fowled injector, no 2 gonskis State of tune of the engine: stock computer, stock turbos, stock fuel system, just a clutch, cloilovers and pulled numerous 11.7 passes at 115mph, was stock turbos as one popped aswell after the motor was toast Suspension and tyres: buddy club coilovers, brodgestone Oil used and service interval: dunno, only owned it for 3 months General comments: for some reason the thing ripped hard, suddenly started to missfire, never heard pinging, changed coilpacks, stoll missfiring, done a leakdown test, wen we got to no.2 it was f**ked bad, i mean real bad... sold the car as is for 11g

  18. belive it or not, i dont care, but i have done it and i have the slips.. second best was a 11.8 and then all night 11.9 sec passes...
