  2. what about a innovative turbo systems gt80 on a 30/26 wiv 272 10.2lift cams??? all i know its a 1.0 rear with a xtrim wheel, and its got a 80mm front wheel.. me in same boat, but have no idea when it will be on hard

  5. well i was taking out the old cams out of the second hand 26 head i got so i could take it to the head specialist... dont ask how.... but the last bolts head broke on the crack of the bolt.... the thread is fine in the head but it had seized in the cap... so we tried to groove a flathead screw into the top of the bolt to pry with a big flathead driver... no go.. we drilled out the bolt numerous times to get a good sized easy out in there.... it cracked the easy out inside the bolt.... every bolt was swet top come out but the bloody last one. we tried with a hammer to crack the seal but that ended up in a cracked cap.... where can i get a cap from?????? please help.....?/ any1 have one??? thanks denis
  6. it may be your stallie like guilt toy has said i recon stallie is slipping and not fully engaging thus you are not making more torque and any more power, you say that the torque sits there and holds deat flat on the same power, my friends car did the same and it was the stall converter.... back on dyno and got extra 60hp at wheels
  7. he is completly right my friend... sorry mate but if a police officer cannot prove your crime they have no chance in court, i had a big runin with the police and i dont get my licence back until 3 weeks, trust me ive been there and in big shit aswell.... not just small shit 15 over... the cop lied in his statements so i hired a 10 grand lawyer to f**k his asshole, this was proven in court when i went, that a cop cannot fine you unless he has evidence that holds no discrepancies that its wasn't you, if there is any doubt that you didn't commit the crime you will be proven innocent... seen it first hand, been in this position first hand...

  10. i have for sale a never used good quality top mount manifold for a rb26 its made of proper stainless steel and not this chinese crap thats floating around it has a similar style merge of the 6 pipes as the 6boost manifolds do.... not quite as good but still a quality item has pipe welded for external gate... after $$ 400 bucks for it... way under what i payed for it a year ago (1200) i have no use for it... located in sydney, hills area, please call or pm denis 0404 490 095
  11. hey all... i was wondering if all of you people that have had experience with all different turbos would be able to shed some light on turbo differences on a rb30/26 im building the car for mainly drag racing but the occasional run around a race track so im not really worried about lag, well to a extent, i would honeslty say id be happy with full boost around the 4800 5000rpm mark.. i have been reading the posts every1 has been taking about their rb30s and their turbos and the power that yous are making and there is not really much info on anything bigger than a 35r, there is a fair bit of info on to4z's as well but what do you guys think about ITS turbos and billett turbos or turbonetics gtk turbos??? i maby be going for a billett turbo which is a t76gts rated to 900 - 1100 hp with a open exhaust housing in a .96 option my motor stands as is rb30 main studs headstuds spool rods aries flat top pistons 8.6 comp all oil mods completed jun oil pump jun collar custom alloy sump, trap doors, baffles ect, modified pickup rb26 head massive porting, knife edged ect ect, throats also ported 1mm or 1.5mm oversidzed stainless valves, im not sure, but its one of the two hks 272 10.2mmlift in and out hks step 2 valvesprings 6boost manifold 1000cc injectors ati 1000hp harmonic balancer... will all be tuned on autronic sm4 i will turn the motor to around 7500 8000rpm so im hoping it will make some serious power...... i really would like to know peoples experience with a setup like this and what yous recon it would withstand and just turbo recommendations and power outputs yous recon it will make thru a manual..... thanks guys. denis

  14. i have hks dual valve springs for step 2 cams... yet to install them so i cant comment but i think its wise to run springs that match the cam or at least are recommended by the cam manufacturer for those type of cams.. i have been told that hks make good stuff for the rb26s so i have gone wiv all hks inside..

  18. hi, i am building a headache of a car which is going along nicely and about 70% complete... i have a s15 and ditched pretty much all the running gear and gone for a mix of parts from all different nissan cars. as the majority of you know, there will now be a weight difference and possibly a balance difference in regards to the cars handling... i have no idea what to do in regards to where would i start to modify the suspension. there is a shit load more weight over the front and you could say the same about the ass end but what would be my best options about getting custom coilovers for my car... should i weigh the old items i took out and compare the weights with the items going in and record them???? would this help in selecting the best possible setup for me??? Im sure balance would be affected in this case so what approaches do i have in regards to this??? the car will be used primarily for drag which is no issue as i will use a standard height strut combined with a 90/10 shock for drag racing, im after a nice track setup as i will be hopefully doing a fair bit of track work in it, im not to fussed about stiffness, i can handle the hardness of coil overs on our shitty roads.. all help appreciated.. cheers denis

  20. ok, took the cams and valvesprings to my engine builder and he has to relive teh head and reshim it... this is for 272, 10.2mm lift in and out. thanks for the help guys
