  1. YAY A SUPRA PIC!!!
  2. Haha ok I'll find out tomorrow I didn't look under it cause it wasn't on a hoist
  3. There's at least one manual M35 in Syd already-sorry to burst that bubble
  4. Now THAT sounds like my style. I'll be in touch when it's all set
  5. Sure, one punch in the face coming up
  6. That CAS problem could be belt flop. It seems to happen to a few guys here on this forum but you're the first at such a low power level to have that issue. Yavuz knows his stuff, why not ask him what to do to fix it up?
  7. Who cares. If it was an F40/50 then it would be worth caring about.
  8. Nothing really, want to see what looks good and what doesn't etc then choose and go from there
  9. Nice necklace. Did Doof give it to you?
  10. Where are you doing Morgs car? I want my one done aswel soon, can't decide where to get it done though
  11. Haha, have driven one of those Astons flat out, he's welcome to try passing a GTR on a track-it won't happen
  12. Excellent attitude to have-if only more people thought like you. Buying from japan isn't that long of a wait, if you bought today they'd only be a few days slower than buying from Australia
  13. More than welcome. Have a look at the Texi's if you guys like using those nice cars on more than a cruise
  14. Have you been saying that to my GTR when I havnt been looking?
  15. Also, that place will definately seperate the all out power guys (you know, T88, 450awkw but stock brakes) from the well sorted cars and isn't that the definition of a fast street GTR?
  16. Constructive suggestion from someone who'd give it a shot and has enough power to enter; go to Sutton Rd Driver Training centre in Canberra and go around there once or twice. That, as it is without any changes will be 100 times better than the TOTB courses, esspecially given it's a street GTR challenge. Only issue would be the distance but why not drag one day then drive to Canberra for the handling the next day. We used to run days there, so many different corners and variations that are impossible to replicate on a runway.
  17. No supra pics?! Lol, where's the love Glad I took it, here's the fuel gauge when I was 20 mins from home-yep, all that and only just under half with no fuel stops from when I filled up on the way to meet up this morning. Got to love factory ECU's
  18. Hey guys, Great cruise! Shame about the pub, next time we will stick to the Imperial as they've always been able to accommodate us easily Let's see pics!!
  19. Ok guys clearly the first pub couldn't accommodate us, so we have split into 2 groups and gone to the imperial hotel. Other than that, and the poor motorbike rider who had the (unrelated to us) stack that was a great cruise with a great bunch of people! Wrap up thread; http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/351411-s-a-u-n-s-w-putty-rd-wrap-up-and-pics/
  20. Aircon.....WTF is that?! Haha, 24 hours to go people!!!
  21. Awesome I'd say 25 or so, its ok if we aren't all served straight away, a few minutes wait won't hurt Let me know if you can't tell them and I'll call them later today
  22. Anyone thinking of doing this; the club stands behind Mats and Korys work. The guys are easy going, listen to what you want, take excellent care with the cars (you drive, they don't) hole taking shots, spend hours and hours finishing the photos but more importantly the photos look awesome.
  23. Guys, bad news.......... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/351161-s-a-u-n-s-w%3B-bad-news-on-texikhana/page__view__findpost__p__5634860 All entrants can be entered in the June Texi, or refund. Your choice (of course June Texi is the better choice here!), just post up what you prefer
  24. Hey all, Some bad news this week on the Texi's for this year. This is out of our hands so please understand we couldnt do anything to help it. Feb Texi is cancelled due to a mix up of bookings by the venue. Here's a condensed version of what happened; I made our bookings last year for 4 rounds of Texi this year. The venue took those bookings in advance but were going to call if there was a problem. The person who does the bookings then has had some kind of miscommunication within their organisation and we only actually got 2 of the 4 bookings I wanted and 2 of the dates I wanted went to other large companies who use the venue aswel as us who would have a MUCH longer relationship with the venue than we have. This wasnt communicated to me until this week, ive been away and the booking person (who is a deadset legend, honestly) is now on 7 months of long service leave. Ive managed to get us 1 extra booking, taking the total Texi's for 2011 to 3. So, firstly, to all the entrants (i believe the list hasnt been updated), you can be entered in the next Texi straightaway or have a refund. Secondly, to anyone sitting on the sidelines - get off your ass and get involved in these days, no one can whinge about not enough events when we put them on and you dont enter. Pretty damn simple. I promise they're a fun day out Texi dates for 2011 have been updated in the 2011 thread which is found HERE (CLICK HERE)and are also below; June 12 September 3rd November 13th The $30 entry deal is still valid of course. Remember, the exec team work hours and hours behind the scenes to make the club happen, sometimes things happen outside our control so please understand we have done our best here. Cheers -Steve SAUNSW President
